I’ve been going to the flora bama since 1980. No matter how small or how large the crowd, the atmosphere is there!
I can sit there and think back about the days when a group of friends would spend the weekend there and none of us had money to stay in a hotel. We slept under the stars on the beach or in our cars . Wash off and go back inside and dance the night away. Walk in crawl out, through the open windows that were close to the ground. Fun times!
Bucket list. Finally made it and it did not disappoint
Myself and six ladies were visiting from South Dakota and were recommended to visit FloraBama. Judy, the cover charge gal was a delight to visit with. She was a wealth of information, was very professional, and made our visit very memorable!

Flora-Bama Lounge, Package & Oyster Bar offers good music and atmosphere, great customer service, and awesome workers. It is a pretty fun spot to hangout with friends or closer ones. The drinks were so good, and the service and vibes were top-notch. The bushwhacker is terrific, and even better if banana is added. The oysters McClellan were grilled and seasoned perfectly. The shrimp basket is a favorite, with fries always on point, and the queso and Bama Burger are also a 10/10. The acoustic stage on the beach closes at 7, so guests must be early to enjoy it. Workers provide top notch service, friendly and helpful vibes, and bring the vibes up from the moment guests walk in.
