Flora-Bama Reviews
I’ve been going to the flora bama since 1980. No matter how small or how large the crowd, the atmosphere is there!
I can sit there and think back about the days when a group of friends would spend the weekend there and none of us had money to stay in a hotel. We slept under the stars on the beach or in our cars . Wash off and go back inside and dance the night away. Walk in crawl out, through the open windows that were close to the ground. Fun times!
Spent a good amount of money here went to go out and was hooked to a tow truck, tow truck driver was nice wanted a drop fee, asked to talk to a manager as we parked in a spot that was not marked and I have video and photos to prove it as the manager agreed with me but they don’t want to do anything about it. 0/10 recommend. Hate to support a business that then says we pretty much tow who we want when we want!
Bucket list. Finally made it and it did not disappoint

Flora-Bama is a renowned restaurant known for its delicious food, fantastic adult beverages, and lively atmosphere. The menu features a variety of delectable options, including the popular fried chicken tacos and highly praised seafood dishes like the blackened gulf Tripletail and coconut shrimp with firecracker sauce. The restaurant's live music and convenient location, accessible by both boat and car, create a great spot to enjoy fun and sun in the sand. The staff, noted for their excellent service, easily accommodates large groups and special needs, as seen when the manager provided a lower table for a customer in a wheelchair.
With several stages for bands to perform, there are many bars and seating areas both inside and outside. Visitors can enjoy free BINGO from Monday to Friday, with fun prizes and entertainment provided by hosts like Rhonda Hart, a Grammy award-winning songwriter. The lively atmosphere includes music bingo and transforms into a full bar after 6 PM. The restaurant welcomes all walks of life, with a five-dollar charge for entry after six and an 18-year-old age requirement. Customers are encouraged to leave their mark on the walls or ceiling, making it a unique experience. There is ample parking and good security, making it a fun Saturday night destination for adult family members.
Overall, Flora-Bama offers great music, a fun atmosphere, and delectable cuisine, making it a must-visit destination for anyone in the area.
