“I never write reviews but i loved this little shop so much i wanted to tell the world. I'm in town visiting, and a friend recommended this place to me. The building is so beautiful I didn't believe it was the right store. Went into the shop fell in love with the atmosphere. The young girl working behind the counter recommended pistachio and I was quick to judge negatively - only to be proven wrong! Highly recommend this for a date spot or little private hangout.“
“Love the fact that the entire facility is gluten free. Cute location. Good coffee. But wasn't blown away by cornmeal waffles. Just different and a little heavy. My favorite one was the one with cherry tomatoes and pimento cheese. GF husband said the blueberry muffin was good.“
“Yesterday on Dec 27th, 2022 my wife and I met a friend for coffee. Makers was recommended by this friend David Harvitz since he personally knows the owners of this local coffee shop. First of all, the coffee was incredible! I loved that there were non-dairy options on milk or creamer as my wife has a dairy allergy/sensitivity. We had the Mocha. Uh-mazing. Also, I LOVE the atmosphere. This is a gorgeous downtown shop and I couldn’t love it more. Third, it’s family friendly in the sense that my wife and I brought our 5 month old daughter with us and while there saw at least two other couples with bucket babies. Nobody once gave us a dirty look like “get that kid out of here.” All in all 5 stars from me. I have lived in Tulsa OK since 2012, but I’m a Pensacola native and I’m proud to say that Makers is an awesome coffee place in my home town. Best of luck to you in this brand new store. You’re going to kill it!!“
“We got a dozen not donuts. My wife was bound and determined get them. Not knowing what was coming (I had never seen pictures or anything beforehand) I do feel like I was kind of deceived. In MY opinion, these are NOT DONUTS. They are flaky and like croissants with toppings on them. Absolutely delicious... Don't get me wrong. I'd eat them all the time. I just feel like it's deceitful to people expecting real donuts and then it's completely different lol“
“After moving from San Diego, I’ve been having a difficult time finding good vegan food. I’m so glad my friend recommended this place. The food was incredible. My girlfriends had the knuckle sandwich, muffuletta, and I got the lions mane. I think they lasted 15 seconds on the table. 10/10“
“High quality kratom & kava on the ready. But more important than the products are the people who work and hangout there. Owners Alex & Keri are extremely hospitable and down-to-earth people. I've had great conversations with them and the patrons. They host an Open Mic Nite the last Friday of every month. People play instruments, read poetry, and enjoy each other's company. Come check it out!!!“
“Using Google, we found this place while on vacation. The donuts were very good, super fresh, some were still warm which is a huge bonus. They fill them with the filling of your choice after you pick the kind you want which is unique. I loved the concept. Price was fair for extra fresh donuts that are far above mass produced ,chain quality. I will warn you the building doesn't look like much but the quality is in the goodies, not the atmosphere. They had some breakfast sandwiches available as well.“
“This is a wonderful little local bookshop and cafe. My wife loved everything about it from the cute book themed gifts to the book selection and recommendations from employees. We parked in the garage just south of the shop. If you park there go into the bookshop and give them your license plate number so you can park for free.“
“Amazing spot!! This coffee hut is truly a diamond in the rough here in Pensacola. On top of amazing staff/owners who remember you and care about each customer who comes through to the many amazing drink options this place has quickly become a favorite! They also have a TON of sugar free options which is SO hard to find here! Visit this gem today you won’t regret it!!!“
“The biscoff latte we ordered is maybe the most delicious coffee beverage I’ve ever tasted. They have a good selection of tea and coffee, and truly cozy seating. We didn’t get to sit in for a theater event, but it seems really fun and will be coming back to try it out. This is a great café to come read, work, or just chat a while. A gem in the panhandle, highly recommended ?? ☕️“
“Cannot recommend this little place enough. Lovely customer service, cozy shop environment, and plenty of choices for everyone. I typically prefer hot coffee, but was sold on the first sip. Customers can assemble their own drinks with housemade brew and flavors. This shop will be a stop for sure when we find ourselves in town.“
“With a multitude of diverse events, Subculture is breathing life into Pensacola's creative scene. Artists, musicians, writers, and the like can all find space to display their passions here! Genuinely appreciate the positive, revitalizing energy of this space as it has fostered ripples of innovation throughout our community. Great job, Mike et al.“
“This coffee shop and the drowsy on Navy Blvd are the absolute BEST I usually go to one of them everyday if not everyday at least once a week and they never let me downthe “Milton” iced latte is my fav ?? ALSO customer service is always on point at this location !“
“this was my first time coming to coffee cup and it was such a cute little diner! it's definitely old style diner & the food resembles that as well. i got french toast (which seems to be deep fried?) and it was okay, i would prefer if it wasn't fried. the hashbrowns were great though! service was good but a little sporadic and slow. all of the staff were super friendly, especially the gentleman who seats you and the lady at the front counter!! love this place, just wish some of the food was prepared differently.“
“Scooter's is a great place to get coffee, and is often cheaper than the competition. I love their Peanut Butter Power Smoothies too. The service is always friendly and fast. The only downside is that, from time to time, I find a few grounds in the bottom of my cup, but only occasionally. They should be more careful when brewing to avoid the grounds getting into the coffee.Parking: Scooter's is meant to be used as a drive-through only. There is parking, but there's no point in using it as a customer.“
“I love this place. Go there when in Pensacola. This time was not great. We ordered 2 coffees, an everything bagel, and mini waffles. Got the coffee and bagel. After 10 minutes daughter went up and said where is the waffles. The girl wasn't even doing them. A girl finally told her that we have waffles coming. She finally went and poured the batter. Was not Happy with this at all . Took another 10 mins and I received them. Never have I had such service like this. This was done at 10:20 am on 04/21/24.“
“The coffee was amazing, it is served warm enough to be enjoyable while cold enough to not burn your tongue. I drank the latte and it was extremely balanced. Additionally, the atmosphere is super relaxing, my friend and I were seating there for over an hour and time just flew by us. I would recommend coffee lovers to stop over. Can also be a cute place for a relaxed date.“
“Best Acai and Iced Matcha in Pensacola! The girls working are ALWAYS authentically kind & helpful, the acai reminds me of south Florida, and when it's a nice day, it is one of the cutest little areas to sit and take a break. Definitely worth checking out.“
“Great location with limited inside seating. Ordering process is get in line and wait. Google does a great job tracking their times of popularity. Staff are very kind and young. When ordering food there is a wait to get it. Most of the food is made to order. Little too many oils used in the bowls. Special orders were not made, when asked to increase or decrease a certain ingredient, it didn't happen.“
“A place that takes me back to high school!? ☕️Cafe Single Fin has delicious food and drinks—one of my favorite places to get a dirty chai latte in Pensacola!Atmosphere: Located in the Waterboyz Surf & Skateshop, the cafe is located on the left-hand side of the space and has a cozy nook feel to it! The whole place is of course themed surfing and skateboarding with decorative pieces all on the walls in the space. A lot of the time they have live music being played by local artists!Service: You order at the counter, and then they bring the food out to you! The ordering process is smooth with menus set up at the front when you first walk in.Menu items: I’ve been getting their Sunzal Tacos for years! They’re so flavorful and pair well with an acai bowl. I get their Ala Moana bowl (blueberries, strawberries, banana, and granola) as well as their Shorebreak smoothie (almond milk, blueberries, strawberries, and banana). Their Dirty Chai Latte is one of the best I’ve had in Pensacola; it can be hard to make it taste just right, and they do such a great job with it! The food and drinks never disappoint!Cafe Single Fin is one of the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants in our area! Their menu is varied to accommodate breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just a little sweet or drink to take to go! ??“
“The Drowsy Poet is delightful! My son and I were passing through Pensacola and decided to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. The coffee is roasted in house and delicious, the pastries are so yummy and the customer service is unbeatable. The owner Bill took time to chat with us and it was an absolute pleasure to getting to know him. This place is a must stop!!“
“We did our cake tasting, and ultimately ordered our wedding cake from them! They were amazing. They listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered quickly on wedding-day with no issues. The cake was beautiful but it tasted AMAZING. We were blown away. Thank you Jordan!“
“For a library, coffee shop, this place has class and character! Doug, who both owns the café and makes your coffee, is a true gentleman, and great conversationalist! It’s not just a coffee shop, it’s an experience. and the coffee is made with precision and it’s delicious.“
“Great shop to work for a little while enjoying delicious ? coffee ☕! Service was great and many comfy places to sit and relax. Also, they even have a selection of books ? (didn't get to take a look at those, this time ). All in all, great 1st visit!“
“I am not kidding when I say I drove 45 minutes to come here and it did not disappoint. I ordered the three waves iced latte which was phenomenal then my friend ordered an iced chai, which was also very good (coming from someone who doesn’t really like chai). The staff were incredibly nice and fast. I also love the feeling the place gives off. Will for sure be making the 45 minute drive again!“
“Love this place. Food is so good and drinks are always delicious. Can be a bit slow sometimes, but quality takes time! I love their crepes. I wouldn't order the quiche again, because it doesn't taste very fresh/handmade. But their crepes are and are always yummy. Great ambience and space inside. Very cozy!“
“I Loved it!Service was excellent, very helpful server let us try the base so we can decide what flavor to get. It’s by the road but and I usually like to enjoy my food and drink in a more quiet place but honestly I didn’t even noticed I’m next to the road! There is a really nice seating area and it’s a bit shaded.Fresh ingredients if I could give 10 out of 5 I would !“
“Everything here is awesome and I love the workers. They make the place what it is. I have never had a bad experience and once asked for a new thing that wasn't on the menu and they gladly obliged and even took the time to ask me how it was. They always seem to like their coworkers and work in symphony. It's quite nice to see as opposed to going somewhere else and hearing someone yelling at someone else for being on their phone. Also look at this cute Christmas design they made on my cup!!! I love this place. I come here almost every weekend and spend a couple of hours if I can.“
“We have been wanting to visit I t this place for years, but just never made it. Today, we scratched the itch, and it was very satisfying. The food was very nice and good portions. We sat outside, and the service was prompt and friendly. Thank you, Amanda, and staff.“
“My friend and I stopped in for ice cream after walking at Big Lagoon state park. The place was packed with customers. The line did move quickly tho. They had a wide array of ice creams and several cone options. My ice cream was very good. We snagged a table by the door and enjoyed our ice cream inside so it didn't melt too quickly outside.“
“Got a fresh roasted drip coffee with oat milk, the owner's father roasts the coffee, the flavor was really nice. We also got the grilled PB&J. Super tasty! Definitely a super nice hidden spot, not too far off the beaten path and worth stopping by. Great menu with lots of Sandwich options, acai bowls, and smoothies as well. Will definitely come back again!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, one vegan sandwich and a few meat options“
“The atmosphere was very pleasant and the young lady, Zoey, working was prompt and knowledgeable of the drinks. The young man that made the drinks took the extra time to give his take on what we should try and even double checked to make sure we liked them!I got the Jasmine orange tea and my daughter tried the strawberry blast. They were both AMAZING! The cups are very sturdy and I wasn't worried about breaking them. We will definitely be coming back!“
“I just want to say Starbucks is doing well also they treat people well and Starbucks is my favorite place to be I'm just going to stay away from the other shopping center I'm not going there anymore not even near Target people are just there are absolutely rude and I want to say to Starbucks workers are very special to me they always make me feel welcome that's why I like to hang out here the most because the people is Starbucks is just very special people that want to socialize with and they're always going to be blessed by God“
“I was hesitant to try since it's more of a "chain" than other coffee shops in the area but I'm so glad I did! It's now my favorite coffee shop in Pensacola. The drink menu is huge and the espresso (I got a King Cake Latte) was delicious. The food menu is not as expansive so I would recommend just going for coffee. One of the best parts was how clean it was - the bathrooms especially! I'll be back for sure.“
“My husband and I went here for the first time Thursday around 3:45pm, I 10 out of 10 recommend, the guy that helped us was super nice, I think maybe he was the manager, my husband got a dirty hot chocolate (hot chocolate with a shot of espresso) I got the Mexican mocha latte, it comes with cinnamon which is one of favorite additions to coffee, he got a medium I got a small the total was only 9$All an all definitely worth it plus it was better than anything I have ever gotten from Starbucks which is my normal go to coffee place10/10 service10/10 quality of ingredients“
“I am a regular of the Brew Thru. I come almost every Saturday and/or Sunday. The coffee is always great, and the baristas are always so friendly, but it's really frustrating how they never seem to abide by their posted hours. There have been several times I have pulled up well after 8am on a Sunday (8:15-8:30), and they're not open. If opening at 8am isn't feasible, I wish they'd change their hours to so that way I don't leave disappointed and without coffee.“
“Kyla is the most amazing barista ever. That was the BEST coffee i’ve ever had. Her customer service was excellent, she made our drinks fast, and sent us on our way with a smile. Kyla is the best!! If you ever need a pick me up coffee and smile, go see her <3“
“I ordered a lunch trio. It was delicious especially my sandwich. Unfortunately, the cappuccino on Wednesday 03/20/24 was terrible. This cappuccino was extremely bitter and had no sweetness at all. It was the worst cappuccino I have ever had. Next, the Fx35 smoothie was not that great either. So, I ended up going somewhere else to get a cappuccino that was made correctly. Bottom-line the food is highly recommended but not these beverages.“
“We always have such a good experience here. Today, Amanda went out of her way for us. We accidentally had some drinks ordered to a wrong Starbucks and she went above and beyond to help us! Absolutely amazing customer service! Highly recommend!“
“Love Buzzed Brew! My favorite coffee shop in town. Unique flavors monthly & themed coffee flights. The baristas truly care if you enjoy your drink - they have offered to remake me anything I wanted to try if I wasn’t satisfied (unnecessary because every drink has been great!). Highly recommend. I visit almost weekly and I live 25 minutes across town.“
