“Today is my dad's birthday, and unfortunately we spent the whole day- 9 am to 4 pm- at a chemo appointment. We decided at the very last minute to look for nearby soul food restaurants, as we were both starving but also so exhausted we didn't even know if we would stay awake to eat. I actually had to circle around to find this place, and struggled to manage parking, but I am SO glad we stopped here! The service was amazing, they are very patient with newcomers, and more importantly, very passionate about their food! They have every right to be, it's some of the best food we've had (outside of our own family, of course 😅😂) and we both ate every last crumb off our plates! My dad has been on the phone for 30 minutes calling everyone he knows to talk about how good this food is! We will definitely be seeing you for meatloaf on Tuesday!!“

“I tried the pork souse. It was nice and hot. Well seasoned. Full of meat. I really enjoyed it. I’ve been wanting to try souse and I wasn’t disappointed. I will definitely be recommending and visiting again. 🥰🥰🥰“

“Food was fresh, made to order and satisfying. I ordered the $15 combo with a burger and 4 BBQ wings. I ordered ranch that I didn't get, but when I bit into those wings I didnt need it lol. I was a little thrown off by the location but the customer service and delicious food made up for it well. I will Definitely be back.“

“I’m delighted to have found this little gem of a place! The chicken was fried to order with the most delicious seasonings and just the right amount of hot sauce doused on top! The banana pudding will knock your socks off! We will definitely be returning!“

“Each time I've order food from there it's always hot and ready for pick up. The food itself is seasoned good. The young lady that works the register is always pleasant. The overall atmosphere is great.“
