“This place had the best burger I have had in a while. Bay was about to close at 10. We showed up at nine forty five and the burger was A-1 steak sauce... Who gives you a burger that is so hand crafted and put together fifteen minutes before closing.... I actually had to come in and use the restroom. And when I walked in everyone was vacuuming cleaning. It was like I was in 2050 chick fil. I'm not sure about the mobile location. But this one in Foley hands down. It's off the chain!!!“

I said the food was tasty but it's the visit from the Chef, checking on all his customers, and then talking up my father-in-law's alma mater! Did I say locals only, well, please include all the (in the know) snowbirds! BTW: they sell their mugs - and yes, we bought one! “In Orange Beach on vacation looking for dinner with a couple hungry kids, all the “normal” dinner places right here in walking distance were full up with an hour wait but low and behold the Waffle House was empty and we sat immediately. The hostess/waitress/cook was the most wonderful and helpful server I have had in years. “We knew of The Gulf Bowl from a previous visit that we enjoyed, and planned our son's party here in the VIP room. We have done event space parties in the past and they have always felt like a rip-off and somehow more stressful than necessary. Not at The Gulf Bowl! Hands down the most wonderful, all-inclusive service and party experience. Taylor, our host, was so helpful! He stopped by periodically and was easy to find if something came up between check-ins. The space was pre-decorated and looked great! I also brought some extras with me day-of and someone helped with those decorations as well when we arrived. Absolutely loved this experience! Our guests had so much fun and I was credited with throwing a great party! So many thanks to your team for making parties a seamless process. We were able to enjoy the event and not worry about little details. Can't sing your praises enough!“
“I've been to this location twice, and it has been a pleasant experience each time. You get a good bit of food for the money. The only thing I'm critical of is their sausage patties. They aren't bad, but they are certainly not a traditional breakfast patty. They have an earthy flavor to them. Everything else was great!“

“This was our first time here and we will definitely go back the next time we are in Orange Beach. Our server "Jordan" "Ray" "Autistic" was FABULOUS. He was not only personable (after he scared me" he was just a very genuine young man. He joked with our girls to give them the whole "experience" then sat and talked with us (the adults). Super nice guy!!!! We went back to the Wharf last night and as we were leaving the girls stopped back in to tell him goodbye. He wasn't at work ( I think he has a 2nd job) so we are leaving this review in hopes that he (and his boss) see this!!!“

At first the entrance was a little confusing because it is off the highway and in a golf and residential community. The signage could be a bit larger or more plentiful, but like most people, Google Maps and Waze will lead you straight to the front door.Walked in and was greeted immediately. The barista was extremely helpful and patient. Recommended the Brown Sugar Latte, and had plenty of non-dairy options. The coffee was amazing! Also order the Classic Bagel breakfast, which was 2 eggs any style, crispy back (YEA!!) and real cheddar cheese. So many options for different breakfast sandwiches and bagels. And they have Conecuh sausage! Has pastries and plenty of sweet treats. The view is of the 1st tee box and the 18th green. Excellent spot for an adult beverage, plenty of coffee options and a full breakfast and lunch menu.“

“The burgers here were delicious. I had the Steak burger with sautéed mushrooms, onions and peppers. The burger was thick and had a good char on the outside, yet medium well on the inside. The flavor of the burger alone was more than you would expect from a typical bar and grill. The only issue we had was the staff seemed overwhelmed or new to the restaurant industry. Either way, it was not a major issue and one that can be remedied with experience. The restaraunt overall was clean and well maintained.“
“They take a normal size steak burger patty and divide it in half. Then they roll them out thin and grill both patties and the edges get a caramelized flavor to them for an excellent taste. “First time being there. We heard it was a popular place and sure enough going in at noon was a mistake. Lined up for the buffet. Food was good but wife had a problem with the dumplings being peppered too much. We had to sit with three other people at a table but we are not adverse to meeting those of like mindedness. One of the things you will need to decide on whether it offends you or not is their asking those who are not eating to leave due to limited space. We don't like to be rushed at meal time so we just kept eating until the place started to clear. But be prepared to be asked to leave if finished during rush hour, etc. I guess we will try it again in the future. Not as Southern as we would like it but will do.“
