“Pirates Cove is AWESOME. A giant Dog park, kindergarten at a Boat Dock with shade trees on a beach. They have hands down the best Bushwackers around. Dogs and children run free. Order at the bar and find a seat. Nothing about this place is PC, and that's one reason we love it. It's not going to be every one's cup of Tea. If you enjoy chaos, watching dog and children running free and swimming, enjoying life while drinking the best Bushwackers this is the place for you. Written by a Local.“

“We went for a late breakfast after googling for a breakfast place. I'm so glad we did. Our omelets (western and Philly cheese steak) were delicious and the coffee was heavenly. Definitely stopping there on our way home, because their coffee and banana French toast are calling to me.“

“I had a great experience at the Culver's in Foley! I wanted their strawberry fields salad for lunch, but when I went to the drive through, a huge power outage in the area temporarily closed the restaurant. The manager came to my car to tell me this; I jokingly said I don't get my favorite salad today, I guess. The manager offered to make the salad without chicken, which was fine with me, and at no charge. This was such a nice gesture and was truly appreciated! I hope Culver's sees my review and appreciates the great customer service by this young man.“

“This place is wonderful for families! Our four-year-old loves coming here because they let kids draw on the tables while you wait for your food, which is an awesome distraction. Richard is an amazing cook and server, and the whole team has always treated us great during brunch. My wife’s favorite is the red velvet waffle, and you can’t beat the $5 mimosas. If you’re looking for a relaxed brunch spot that’s family-friendly and serves great food, this place definitely delivers!“

“This is more of a clubhouse than a bar. It's a nice place for the residents of One Club but I wouldn't recommend it as bar for the public to visit. I visited on a Saturday night and they had line dancing lessons. I would think they would have this during the afternoon and not during the night when people just want to drink, listen to good music,and have a good time. The only thing that was great was the service. Cha Cha was one of the best bartenders I've experienced in the area.“

“Friends and I went for the Sunday morning brunch. The seating area has a very nice view. The brunch had an omelette made to order area with many add ins. There was a table with eggs, french toast sticks, fruit, bacon and sausage. There was a very nice variety Giant cinnamon rolls were delicious. The wait staff was attentive.“

Sitting on the back porch or in the captain’s quarters is so relaxing and a perfect spot to sip on your favorite beverage. I have to give it 10/10 ⭐️ The alligator cheesecake, the tuna nachos, the pizza, stuffed fried mushrooms , the burgers and the steak, I honestly haven’t had anything bad there. The owners Jason and Sarah along with Chef Matt have created an incredible experience with the freshest of foods. As somebody who worked in the restaurant industry it literally makes me happy to see that. The food was ready quick, hot, fresh, and delicious. The space was clean as clean can be. Well I can assure you whoever that was is no longer here working . Because everybody seems family like and super friendly and accommodating to all who come to the texaco summit . “My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

“I tried the Tin Top for the first time today (lunch on a Saturday), I was dining alone, as I really just stopped by to check the place out. We are opening an Airbnb about a half mile for the restaurant and want to be able to recommend it to our guests. Food was pretty good, I had a basic hamburger and slice of key lime pie, I think that their dinners may be more impressive, as it is a popular spot. They have all you can eat on Wednesday, I believe it was mullet and catfish. They had a prime rib special on the board for $34. Overall it was a pleasant experience, however it took the staff 5 minutes to acknowledge I was there, they asked if I would like to be seated at the bar, when I declined the girl gave me a bit of an irritated vibe, she wasn’t rude, but just let her annoyance show a little, i was one person taking a full 4 top table. Once seated, it took my actual server at least 5-6 minutes to get to my table, she was very sweet, and super friendly. She got my order and bring my drink, she did a nice job of keeping my drink glass full, but my meal was delivered (by someone else) with no burger toppings whatsoever, just a burger on a bun with cheese… at $14 a little lettuce, tomato pickle etc is nice. It took her a while to come back and she actually noticed that it was a bare naked burger and fries, offered to run back and get toppings, that took another 5 minutes, bu this time my food was cold. When she stopped back she had my bill, but had not brought my pie (I preordered it with my food). She picked up the bill added the pie and you guessed it, it took her a really long time to come back with the pie, like almost 10 minutes. The pie is just key lime pie, it was not the best I have had and certainly by no means the worst, it doesn’t have any whip cream on it and it is a pretty small slice for $8. After I finished my pie it took a long time again to get my updated bill, and I actually had to grab her and just hand her my cr card to pay so I could leave. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to have lunch (1 person) it wasn’t real busy, I would say probably 60% capacity, and it was lunch not dinner, on a Saturday afternoon. I will definitely try this place again, as the food warrants a redo, but if the service is the same, this would not be a repeat for a 3rd visit, it good food, but not good enough to be sooo slow.“

“My husband loves liver and onions. That’s a dish I don’t cook at home. We’ve been here for 15 years now and on a regular basis we go to Kitty’s Kafe’ for liver and onions. He particularly likes the green beans. We love the people and the atmosphere. One day I’ll take photos of our cat to add to their collection.“

“I needed to meet someone for a business lunch in Foley and tried Captain's Choice Seafood Restaurant for the first time. This was a true treat from stepping in the door of the nice bowling alley and seeing the 50s style diner and the restaurant in the front. This is truly a hidden gem. The service was outstanding and the everything on the menu looked wonderful. What impressed me the most was how they take time to make things homemade, from the homemade hamburger patty, the chili and the ranch dressing. I look forward to eating here anytime I am in the area and can say it is one of the best meals I've had in ages. I also look forward to using the bowling lanes and game area for events.“

“We have been multiple times eating inside and going through the Drive Thru. They’re always so friendly and there are plenty of people working. When someone isn’t ordering they are picking up baskets, wiping down the doors and napkin dispensers. Very Clean and affordable! I love the fries.“
