“This was such a fun stop on our boat ride. Anchor down and check out this gem of a place. They’ve got a beach all around for the kids to place in, it is dog friendly, the food is good, and the drinks are amazing. Pirates Cove made the best Bushwacker I’ve ever had. “This year's stay at Perdido Beach Resort was our first stay since change of ownership. The scenery was exquisite as always, and we noticed new additions to family friendly activities ! There's still many renovations in the world , but none that interfered with the atmosphere we enjoy during our stays. Many new faces , most of which had big smiles for all visitors . There were a few faces we missed, both entertainers ,& family members. There were only three of us this year. My mother who's 87yrs old & disabled, my 79yo aunt with late stage Parkinson's ,& myself, also disabled , but thankfully, can still be the designated driver of our little family. Apparently,my spinal & knee disabilities were perceived by 1 waiter as alcohol induced. I had went down to the bar ,with plans of purchasing a bottle of wine & rejoining my family in our room. We were actually in the Coastal Art Museum Hot Shop blown glass class,that morning & visiting family, since this was possibly the last chance we'll ever have to all vacation together. My recent spinal surgery affects my gait & ability to stand up quickly.It can cause me to vear left about 45,°& at times, cause uncontrolled arm tremors.I will be wheelchair bound within the next couple years, so I'm trying to enjoy the little time I can still stand without assistance, no matter how clumsy it may look. Although we had recently returned to the resort ,(after our day out ,with no alcohol,) when I arrived at the piano bar, Oveino, told his supervisor Matthew, I was inebriated , & refused to sell me a bottle of wine for my room. Life, & vacation with loved ones is way too short to argue with rude misinformed people , so I went to the PBResort store, steps away from the piano bar, & bought my bottle of wine to take back to my room. I did bring half a glass of wine from my room , from the night before , so maybe he assumed I'd been drinking before I arrived .But as mentioned,I'm the only designated driver & don't 'day'drink . The next night ,being the last of our short stay this year, I wanted to insure there were no issues ,in having a nice evening with my family . Again, life's too short , so I verified with the reception desk, as well as the store employees, that purchases from the store were fine to eat & drink in the piano bar .This seem to be a problem with the same employee , but I informed him as nicely as possible, that I had already confirmed,our presence & items from the store were perfectly acceptable in the piano bar ,& he could verify my purchases & permission from those employees. Also , I would love the names of the valets who assisted us each day. We did not carry around cash, but had intended to tip each of the wonderful valets ,at the end of our stay. Unfortunately, we only saw one of these galant gentlemen before leaving. I would love to send each of them a gift card with their tips for the week. We would have never made it without them. Thank you so very much. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit ,except for the already mentioned incidents & disregard of my medical condition. But I have always enjoyed my visits at PBR & would love to see the total remodel, if I'm still able to travel .(And hopefully the piano ladies will be on the music lineup,as well. I've always enjoyed their entertainment!)Every person at the reception desk, the PBR store, the cleaning staff , & every one of the valets , along with Jesse ,the guitar man , were phenomenal. They were professional , very kind & friendly,& treated my family with respect ! Next time , I will bring a note from my doctor , & my uncle, who's a Law Enforcement Officer, with his breathalyzer , as proof of my ability to hit the elevator button...LOL. (I was afraid I'd offend Ovenio by pronouncing his name wrong (& have probably spelled it incorrectly in this review), so I told him I'd call him Dr O~ because at the end of the day, my nightcaps, are wh“

“Exceptional. Holiday weekend. Positive and great service from the host to the servers to management who you could see was actively involved. As somebody who worked in the restaurant industry it literally makes me happy to see that. The food was ready quick, hot, fresh, and delicious. The space was clean as clean can be. We will always come back here. Kudos to this place because they are doing it right. Rare to get both good service and good food from a restaurant these days, but the folks on this shift nailed it.“

“Lamberts Cafe is the absolute best restaurant in Foley, Al. Every time my family and I travel down to visit family we have to stop here. Food is amazing. The pass arounds are delicious and the whole family can't wait to hear HOT ROLLS being yelled out. “My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

“I tried the Tin Top for the first time today (lunch on a Saturday), I was dining alone, as I really just stopped by to check the place out. We are opening an Airbnb about a half mile for the restaurant and want to be able to recommend it to our guests. Food was pretty good, I had a basic hamburger and slice of key lime pie, I think that their dinners may be more impressive, as it is a popular spot. They have all you can eat on Wednesday, I believe it was mullet and catfish. They had a prime rib special on the board for $34. Overall it was a pleasant experience, however it took the staff 5 minutes to acknowledge I was there, they asked if I would like to be seated at the bar, when I declined the girl gave me a bit of an irritated vibe, she wasn’t rude, but just let her annoyance show a little, i was one person taking a full 4 top table. Once seated, it took my actual server at least 5-6 minutes to get to my table, she was very sweet, and super friendly. She got my order and bring my drink, she did a nice job of keeping my drink glass full, but my meal was delivered (by someone else) with no burger toppings whatsoever, just a burger on a bun with cheese… at $14 a little lettuce, tomato pickle etc is nice. It took her a while to come back and she actually noticed that it was a bare naked burger and fries, offered to run back and get toppings, that took another 5 minutes, bu this time my food was cold. When she stopped back she had my bill, but had not brought my pie (I preordered it with my food). She picked up the bill added the pie and you guessed it, it took her a really long time to come back with the pie, like almost 10 minutes. The pie is just key lime pie, it was not the best I have had and certainly by no means the worst, it doesn’t have any whip cream on it and it is a pretty small slice for $8. After I finished my pie it took a long time again to get my updated bill, and I actually had to grab her and just hand her my cr card to pay so I could leave. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to have lunch (1 person) it wasn’t real busy, I would say probably 60% capacity, and it was lunch not dinner, on a Saturday afternoon. I will definitely try this place again, as the food warrants a redo, but if the service is the same, this would not be a repeat for a 3rd visit, it good food, but not good enough to be sooo slow.“

“This is more of a clubhouse than a bar. It's a nice place for the residents of One Club but I wouldn't recommend it as bar for the public to visit. I visited on a Saturday night and they had line dancing lessons. I would think they would have this during the afternoon and not during the night when people just want to drink, listen to good music,and have a good time. “Relieved wrong dish and waiter was overwhelmed. By the time he replaced my entree my daughter was finished eating. When making reservation one of the questions was if this was a special occasion and it was, it was my birthday. While waiting for my entree to be sent back the next table had a birthday where the staff sang and presented dessert by my same waiter. My birthday was not recognized at all. Just felt second rate. The food was delicious and I wish I could have just tipped the kitchen staff.“
