“We got there at 9pm, thinking they closed at 10. They close at 9:30 on Sundays. They were SO kind to us. The owner/manager came out to our table to make sure everything was to our liking, our waitress was amazing. We got the red snapper, surf and turf, sushi, lobster Mac and firecracker shrimp. Everything was delicious. The macaroni by itself on the surf & turf plate was the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. Lobster Mac was amazing. Steak was perfectly cooked. The fish was the best I’ve ever had. The way they told us we could stay as long as we like. We were tired from the beach so we left about 9:40 but wow, I’ll never forget this place! Instead of being annoyed, they treated us like gold.“

“Exceptional. Holiday weekend. Positive and great service from the host to the servers to management who you could see was actively involved. As somebody who worked in the restaurant industry it literally makes me happy to see that. The food was ready quick, hot, fresh, and delicious. The space was clean as clean can be. We will always come back here. Kudos to this place because they are doing it right. Rare to get both good service and good food from a restaurant these days, but the folks on this shift nailed it.“

“I went to lunas and got the beerger the pimento hush puppies a side of Brussels sprouts and a side of Mac and cheese while my gf got a ceaser salad with blackened chicken . I will first say 10/10 no hesitation 6 stars !!! The blueberry pepper jelly with the hush puppies DIVINE. Rollercoaster of flavors absolutely stunning . The Brussels sprouts with the glaze . My absolutely favorite way to eat sprouts now . Not a single complaint . Will eat again and again and again and probably again .“

“My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

“This place is just hands down one of the nicest restaurants down here, especially for an occasion. My husband chose here for his birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. We had a party of 12, we were enjoying ourselves laughing and having drinks and they went with our flow and accommodated us perfectly without messing with our vibe at all. Our server Jon did great with our large chatty group and we appreciate so much the experience we got to have. The filet was incredible, the fish, the potatoes, just so amazing. Plus that chocolate cake omg. Couldn’t have asked for more for my husband’s birthday. You made it a core memory for the books.“

“This place is one of my favorites. Always great food, pleasant atmosphere, and great service. The four of us dined October 31, 2025 and had a wonderful meal served by Brian and capped off with crème brûlée. Outstanding.“

“We went for a late breakfast after googling for a breakfast place. I'm so glad we did. Our omelets (western and Philly cheese steak) were delicious and the coffee was heavenly. Definitely stopping there on our way home, because their coffee and banana French toast are calling to me.“

“I recently traveled down to Gulf Shores, and a friend recommended I try Big Mike's Steakhouse. Last night, I finally had the chance—and from the moment I opened my car door, the aroma alone had my mouth watering. I knew right then I was in for something special.
I started with the fried mushrooms, and they were cooked to absolute perfection—crispy on the outside and flavorful all the way through. For my entrée, I ordered the ribeye steak, and I was thoroughly impressed. It was seasoned just right and delivered on both taste and quality.
When I got home and checked Facebook, I saw several friends had already commented, highly recommending this same spot and raving about the food—and now I completely understand why.
If you’re visiting Gulf Shores or Orange Beach, I highly recommend making a stop at Big Mike’s Steakhouse. You won’t be disappointed.“

“We are a large family. They sat us quickly and we had a wonderful experience. Carson was our server and he did an excellent job. He was kind to our kids, kept the chips and salsa flowing, was attentive without being too chatty, and was all around a GREAT server. “This was one of the only places open on Christmas & we were so thankful for it. The people were working hard & I felt doing their best. My family & I visited on Christmas vacation. The teriyaki, sweet & sour and sesame chicken and rice were good.“

“Service was friendly, fast and efficient. There is a 2 person lift to the second floor restaurant and bar. My fish tacos had great flavor, but were too spicy for me to truly enjoy. The beer was ice cold, but I did have to ask for a glass. No problem splitting the bill. The key lime pie was delicious.“
