“My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

“i love Tacky jacks but i was very disappointed in the mexican Garbage that i got as a too go order this tie because the Gulf Shores Tack Jacks had more cheese and toppings on it and i was expecting that from The Orange Beach Tacky Jacks so i will be ordering from Gulf Shores from now on“

“Thank you guys so much for the fabulous experience! I was a little skeptical at first, but the experience from the hostess to our waitress was great! I had the crab and shrimp combo. The flavor was awesome! The dipping butter kind of took away from the fabulous flavor. I'm a steamer fan from now on!“

“This year's stay at Perdido Beach Resort was our first stay since change of ownership. The scenery was exquisite as always, and we noticed new additions to family friendly activities ! There's still many renovations in the world , but none that interfered with the atmosphere we enjoy during our stays. Many new faces , most of which had big smiles for all visitors . There were a few faces we missed, both entertainers ,& family members. There were only three of us this year. My mother who's 87yrs old & disabled, my 79yo aunt with late stage Parkinson's ,& myself, also disabled , but thankfully, can still be the designated driver of our little family. Apparently,my spinal & knee disabilities were perceived by 1 waiter as alcohol induced. I had went down to the bar ,with plans of purchasing a bottle of wine & rejoining my family in our room. We were actually in the Coastal Art Museum Hot Shop blown glass class,that morning & visiting family, since this was possibly the last chance we'll ever have to all vacation together. My recent spinal surgery affects my gait & ability to stand up quickly.It can cause me to vear left about 45,°& at times, cause uncontrolled arm tremors.I will be wheelchair bound within the next couple years, so I'm trying to enjoy the little time I can still stand without assistance, no matter how clumsy it may look. Although we had recently returned to the resort ,(after our day out ,with no alcohol,) when I arrived at the piano bar, Oveino, told his supervisor Matthew, I was inebriated , & refused to sell me a bottle of wine for my room. Life, & vacation with loved ones is way too short to argue with rude misinformed people , so I went to the PBResort store, steps away from the piano bar, & bought my bottle of wine to take back to my room. I did bring half a glass of wine from my room , from the night before , so maybe he assumed I'd been drinking before I arrived .But as mentioned,I'm the only designated driver & don't 'day'drink . The next night ,being the last of our short stay this year, I wanted to insure there were no issues ,in having a nice evening with my family . Again, life's too short , so I verified with the reception desk, as well as the store employees, that purchases from the store were fine to eat & drink in the piano bar .This seem to be a problem with the same employee , but I informed him as nicely as possible, that I had already confirmed,our presence & items from the store were perfectly acceptable in the piano bar ,& he could verify my purchases & permission from those employees. Also , I would love the names of the valets who assisted us each day. We did not carry around cash, but had intended to tip each of the wonderful valets ,at the end of our stay. Unfortunately, we only saw one of these galant gentlemen before leaving. I would love to send each of them a gift card with their tips for the week. We would have never made it without them. Thank you so very much. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit ,except for the already mentioned incidents & disregard of my medical condition. But I have always enjoyed my visits at PBR & would love to see the total remodel, if I'm still able to travel .(And hopefully the piano ladies will be on the music lineup,as well. I've always enjoyed their entertainment!)Every person at the reception desk, the PBR store, the cleaning staff , & every one of the valets , along with Jesse ,the guitar man , were phenomenal. They were professional , very kind & friendly,& treated my family with respect ! Next time , I will bring a note from my doctor , & my uncle, who's a Law Enforcement Officer, with his breathalyzer , as proof of my ability to hit the elevator button...LOL. (I was afraid I'd offend Ovenio by pronouncing his name wrong (& have probably spelled it incorrectly in this review), so I told him I'd call him Dr O~ because at the end of the day, my nightcaps, are wh“

“Relieved wrong dish and waiter was overwhelmed. By the time he replaced my entree my daughter was finished eating. When making reservation one of the questions was if this was a special occasion and it was, it was my birthday. While waiting for my entree to be sent back the next table had a birthday where the staff sang and presented dessert by my same waiter. My birthday was not recognized at all. Just felt second rate. The food was delicious and I wish I could have just tipped the kitchen staff.“

“I absolutely loved Cotton's Restaurant it will most definitely be one of my go to when I'm in town. My son and I had The Ribeye Steak was so juicy and full of flavor along with that baked potato all the way and a piece of key lime pie which was magnificent the whole meal was just really really good my daughter and her boyfriend had the crab legs said those were really phenomenal they had strawberry cheese cake very good place“

We had ChaCha's Crab Dip, Salad Bar, 14 Oz. Steak with Loaded Baked Potato & Sea Scallops with Fried Okra which was all cooked as well as seasoned to perfection.“

“My family and I, along with my in-laws, came here to do some jet ski through a charter company. The harbor was beautiful and peaceful with no rush from anyone we met there. Clean and very nice with friendly people. My wife even commented of how nice it would be to move there after our daughter moves out to university next year. That surprised me hearing something like that from her!“
