“Every time we visit Pensacola, FL, we always have to go to crabs at least a couple of times. They always make us feel welcome, and one of the managers, Glenn, goes above and beyond to take care of us and ensure everything is as it should be. We had a fantastic waitress (Kealoha) this time also.“
“We had the smoked tuna dip which was awesome. We split a seafood plate with catfish shrimp and fried oyters. It came with 3 sides. Delicious and more than enough for the two of us. I am definitely going back for baked oysters, they looked amazing. Beer and wine at very competitive prices. Were too hungry to get pictures of the seafood platter.“
“Such a great place to grab lunch! There's a good selection of food, like BBQ, wings, burgers, and sushi, but my favorite is the Azteca's Tacos! Get the taco with pineapple glazed pork, it's amazing. The servers are all friendly, and accommodating since they make the food right then for you. There's plenty of tables with shade for sunny days, and good parking all around.“
“Most important, super clean store! Service was great! Cassie collected everything I was looking for. All I had to do was request and she bagged it. Shrimp and crawfish was a hit! And the chips and dip was amazing! My go to seafood market from now on!“
“They did a wonderful job! Everyone was so nice and the food was amazing. This establishment was fast in the time it took to make the food, the food came out hot, and most importantly the food was delicious!! Definitely will be coming back!!“
“This place is not only delicious with a fabulous view but they went above and beyond to accommodate my finicky daughter by making her her own special grilled cheese sandwich and putting together a lovely little fruit cup with some fruit they had left over from brunch. Basically they didn’t say no to any of our extra requests and it made for a wonderful family visit!! Highly recommend this place.“
“The tacos were hot and the beer was ice cold! Roberto was our server today. He was very friendly and prompt. The food was excellent and the service was second to none. And the desserts were awesome! Definitely our favorite place for Mexican.“
“If you just want to eat good seafood without all the added expense of a trendy restaurant, Shrimp Basket is the place. We had oysters, seafood platter, and gumbo. The dinner was well prepared, quickly served, and very tasty. Our server was excellent and efficient. We had a great dinner at half the price of many other restaurants in the neighborhood.“
“Shadow is dog friends and people too. They have a dog menu so Biscuit ordered a Puppy Patty, it was cooked to perfection. This was my 3rd visit, but first with Biscuit.. See pic.Parking: When busy they is free park across the street, and his parking in their lot, during less busy times“
“Such an amazing night. We were both already fans of Chef George however after tonight we are even bigger fans. Our entire experience was great. We went out for my birthday/our 20th anniversary. We did a tasting of the menu from oysters (murder pointe) delicious, buttery soft and a hint of sweet the cucumber, red wine and shallot mignonette were a beautiful start. Followed by red snapper collar which was delicious however our server noticed we were having a harder time accessing the meat then normal and immediately spoke with Chef George who Insisted on firing a new one even though we’d enjoyed over half of our first one. So we ordered some tuna carpaccios while we waited and this was outstanding (if you like jalapeños ask for extra). Our second red snapper collar came out and was perfection. Soft flaky smooth and delicious (thank you chef for insisting absolutely worth it). We then decided to order the flounder main dish to share which was also perfect. The crispy fried capers and roasted pecans added a wonderful crunch contrast to the soft silky fish and creamy potatoes. To finish the night we got the tuxedo cake, and while not made in house clearly was chosen for its superior quality as my husband who does not care for chocolate was eating more of the chocolate mouse than the vanilla cheesecake. I would also highly recommend the Paloma such a refreshing drink like your sitting on a lounge chair on the beach enjoying the sunset.“
“Stopped in here for breakfast of course and I wasn’t disappointed! I had the Dads good morning breakfast and let me tell you something it was delicious!! Country fried steak with sausage gravy the seasoned potatoes and eggs where perfect! My waitress kept my coffee cup full and super friendly. I’m an old truck driver so that made me feel like home lol. If your wanting a great breakfast or brunch spot stop on in and give them a try,I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.“
“Ahrrr-guably the best restaurant on Pensacola Beach. This casual, beach-view eatery and bar near Fort Pickens is the perfect spot to re-energize with fresh seafood, steaks, burgers, and drinks after a day in the sun and sand. The kids playground and dockside fish feeding make it fun for children. The live music that's not too loud and multiple bars give adults a place to unwind. There's not much to dislike about Peg Leg Petes. The prices are excellent, the food is exceptional, the atmosphere is kitschy in the charming way that one would expect from a pirate-themed coastal restaurant with nautical nick nacks hanging on the walls. The only improvement would be an increase in the amount and an improvement on the comfort of the available seating in the waiting area. Reservations online are recommended. The wait on warm days throughout the year can be hours. Get the grilled grouper, sauteed crab claws, gumbo, or the grouper sandwich with a side of red beans and rice and you'll be singing the praises of Peg Leg Pete's like a pirate that has just returned home from an adventure on the high seas. Add a few "shipwreck" cocktails to your dinner and you might be slurring your words while singing sea shanties as you walk back to your condo on beautiful Pensacola Beach.“
“First things first, if you’re looking for a quality meal, this place has some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The night we went was for our 11th Anniversary. Our reservation was at 7:30 and we requested to be seated outside if weather permitted to view the water, however, it was incredibly windy due to a storm coming in the next day so we opted to stay inside the restaurant to be seated. I was hoping they would seat us somewhere nice inside since they were aware of our anniversary based on the reservation and we specifically requested a nice view even if we weren’t able to be seated outside, but they gave us a choice of either sitting outside as we requested, exposed to the incredibly high wind, or a table seated inside. We obviously chose inside but the restaurant is incredibly loud. You have to raise your voice to hear over the noise of the place. Hoping to avoid the loudness of the main dining room, we chose to be seated in what we hoped was a quieter area near the gift shop. Nope. They literally sat us in the bar where we were looking at people’s backs as they watched the games on tv. Not exactly the most romantic seating. I thought they’d at least try to seat us at a window overlooking the water but no. We were literally in the noisiest, least scenic seats in the restaurant. It was fairly disappointing. So much so that we just wanted to get our food and eat as quickly as possible to get out of there. We’d planned on having a nice dinner with drinks and dessert, but we just ordered a salad and our entree’s so we could eat as quickly as possible to leave. Now, the meal was DELICIOUS. My husband ordered the filet and I had the lobster tails. They were both cooked and seasoned to perfection and it came out fairly quickly. I’ve eaten here in the past and gotten the grouper and wasn’t too thrilled with it several years ago, but whoever is in their kitchen these days is knocking it out of the park. The Boursin grits that my perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned lobster tails sat atop complimented them beautifully! My husbands filet was also cooked to perfection and he said it was one of the best cooked steaks he’s ever had. Highest marks on the food. We would have stayed to try the dessert and after dinner drinks, but with the seating we had and as loud as it was we were just ready to leave, which is unfortunate because a nice meal should be enjoyed slowly and leisurely and should be an experience. This…was NOT an experience that I wanted to draw out, but again, the food was phenomenal! I would recommend this place if you’re out to drink and be seen, but not for a nice romantic dining experience. At least it wasn’t for us. Skip this place if you’re looking for an intimate or romantic vibe. If you want somewhere where you can talk, slowly enjoy your meal, and has the vibe where you want the meal to last and truly get to savor each course, this isn’t your place. This is more chaotic, hip bar vibes with a really nice menu.“
“Wow! Delicious seafood! I highly recommend the blackened grouper, grilled shrimp, cheesy grits, and collard greens. And the raw oysters are amazingly fresh! Big shout out to my waitress, Amanda, for the great recommendations!Next time I'm in Pensacola, I'll be stopping by again!“
“This place was beautiful it all ways. Food was delicious. I had crab dip and Key lime pie. Ive only had 1 amazing key lime 20 yrs ago. . I have finally found amazing #2. It was so good! Tammy was my waitress.. sweet, kind, attentive, adorable. The views were absolutely gorgeous.. beautiful live carribean style music on the patio. Perfection at this spot!“
“We had the most wonderful experience tonight while dining in. We started with a little bit of a wait, about an hour, but with the views and areas to walk around, it was no problem for 5 adults and 5 kids. The food was beyond amazing! The service was spot on and Sam was absolutely killer with dealing with all of the kids, four of which are 5 and under! It was clear she really cared. Holy smokes was the food good!!! Between the fish tacos, the grits, and the blackened tuna I had for an appetizer, I haven’t ate so good in my life!! I can’t wait to come back!! These guys are really GREAT!“
“A great place to get an interesting, delicious meal. They always have good vegan options for those who are so inclined. The vegan charcuterie blew my mind; asked the waitress several times if she didn’t get me the standard one by mistake.“
“Had lunch beachside 4/16/24. Avery was our OUTSTANDING staff member. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were promptly greeted and seated. Wide variety menu and very reasonable prices. We shared a few appetizers with drinks before ordering lunch. Avery was very attentive and everything requested was promptly provided. The grouper Ruben was fabulous. It was a very nice afternoon with goid friends, location, food, and service. Thank you Avery!“
“Great food. We ordered the grilled shrimp for an appetizer and it was sooo good. My boyfriend ordered all you can eat steamed shrimp. My oldest son ordered Cajun pasta with chicken, shrimp and broccoli in it. My youngest son ordered the kids popcorn shrimp and fries. I ordered the grilled platter- grilled shrimp and blackened chicken. My two sides were grits and shrimp and new potatoes. Since I didn’t want the shrimp slaw, corn fritter and and hush puppies, the waitress gave me the option to get another side. So I ordered broccoli. The alcoholic drinks were mediocre. The customer service was great. Our waitress was very friendly.“
“We've been coming to the Gulf Shores/Pensacola are for 30+years. Tonight was our first visit to the Oar House. Wow!! Everything from drinks to appetizers, meals and desserts was scrumptious! Our waiter (sorry, I can't remember his name) was knowledgeable and very attentive. We will definitely be back!!“

“My husband and I are new to the area and we absolutely love seafood. Looking for local places to eat, we found Shrimp Basket, and decided to make it a date night. They have a LOT of delicious options to choose from. My husband and I both got the blackened redfish and we both got some add ons, such as popcorn shrimp, and stuffed crab. We also ate the crab cakes and they are DELICIOUS. They’re actually made like crab cake and have tons of flavor compared to something like Long John Silvers or some other seafood chain. They have a bar, indoor seating, and outdoor seating. While the prices are a little pricey depending on what you get, the food is well worth it.A lovely server named Denice took care of us and she gave us plenty of time to decide on what we would like, made some good recommendations, and was very timely in checking up on us.Give the place a try!“
“Honest Review Me and my girl came here for lunch the day they opened as this new store. I never had the pleasure of eating at Seafood Station but wish I had. New management apparently, and they are doing it right. First off, we ordered a diet coke for me and a sweet tea for my wonderful girl. We noticed they served them out of 2-liters which was interesting but didn't bother us. I got our appetizer before I got my drink though and that was odd. Either way, the Goyza soup was amazing. It was just goyza in a pho broth but it worked so well. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue and my girl got the shrimp fried rice. It was amazing, good flavors, good portions, and just overall good food. The service was good but slow a bit. the decor was cute and overall I would highly recommend this place.“
“A steak and seafood restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Pensacola!? The District provides a cozy, modern fine dining experience!Atmosphere: The space has a combination of brick and wood accents with a beautiful stairway in the entrance! The tables are covered with white table cloths; and depending on where you’re sitting, you get a view of the street!Service: We had a larger party, but our waiter took care of us like a champ! We were constantly checked up on and received our drinks and food quickly!Menu items: I got their Scottish Salmon Oscar for dinner and had their birthday dessert to end the night! (Celebrated here for my 22nd birthday!)The dining experience here is unique as the restaurant is in Pensacola’s more historic downtown district. They also have a glass window that shows their meat storage that you can find on your way to the restroom!“
“Definitely the best indian restaurant in Pensacola !Have been here multiple times before since they started. Chicken biryani and Keema dosa are my favourites. Family owned restaurant and Owners are very friendly, makes this place even more welcoming and special. Simply love this place .Don’t forget to try their chai !“
“I love bringing my family to this restaurant ❤️ best seafood and chicken wings ! Love the employees & their positive vibes! I’ve been going to this place in Pensacola Florida for the past four years ! The manager definitely knows how to run this place :)!“
“There were four of us. We had 2 mullet plates, a shrimp po boy, and a shrimp plate. The shrimp plate had enough shrimp to eat and still have a doggie bag. The mullet plates had plenty of fish. The po boy was overflowing with shrimp. My favorite thing was the hot and crispy fries. I also liked the cucumber and tomato salad. Overall, it was a very nice dining experience. We were all very satisfied with the food, the service, and the atmosphere.“
“We are here with 11 people. The server, Lauren was phenomenal! The food was excellent! We had appetizers, the banging shrimp was amazing, bbq shrimp was a table favorite, and my kids (and adults) loved the chips and salsa. The tacos were delicious, the fish and chips were also very good. There was not a dish that was not good. A must go to place when in Pensacola.“
“We were returning from New Orleans and stumbled upon this place. Let me tell you; I had crawfish in New Orleans the day before and most where over cooked to where the tails where mush. But these were by far the best I've ever had. Cooked perfectly and the seasoning was amazing "garlic butter". But I think next time I'll get the hot as the medium did not seem hot at all for me. This place is now my go to restaurant when in Pensacola. They even allow our dog to sit in his wagon while we enjoyed our meal of crawfish clams and mussels. Cannot wait to go back again!“
“Omgoodness ❤️!! This place is so good!! I had a fried chicken sandwich with fries.. it was AMAZING! My son had fried gizzards and he said the same thing!! The price was great, large servings and great service ?❤️!! Abso-freaking-lutely recommend!! Thank y'all ?❤️“
“I've been here quite a few times. I even brought a few people along the last couple of times I've been so they can share the experience. The service is superb! The food is always fresh and delicious. They have the type of customer service that can just change your whole day. Keep up the great work!“
“Hands down my favorite place to eat and relax in town. The owner and staff are so friendly, the food is amazing, and they have incredible events with a very cool outdoor space. Kid and pet friendly. Come relax, enjoy great authentic cuisine, enjoy the atmosphere, and all the amazing people.“
“I had order the fish tacos and was very disappointed. There was about 2 inches of fish in a 6 inch tortilla. I was extremely disappointment. management made it right. I love Bone Fish Grill. The service is always above the others. thanks Doug!“
“Everything is great!! I'd definitely go back. The con that I have is that the 1st time we went, they tried to over charge me and tell me that there was no way around it. That wasn't cool at all. The 2nd time we went, it wasn't busy at all. The issue was that we could never find out waiter and when we were ready to go, I had to go get my own to-go box because we couldn't find the waiter and we waited forever to receive our check. Once they fix those issues, they'll be great!!“
“I was leaving the complex when a wonderful smell hit my nose! I literally spun on my heel and walked into the building. I decided the best place to start would be with the first item: Mullet! It was fantastic!! After reading some of the other reviews, I know I'll be back for some ox tail, and curry!!“
“Colorful bldg drew me in. Sooo glad I stopped here. Had smothered pork chops, field peas, Mac cheese. Excellent homemade food. Only reason I gave atmosphere 3 stars is cuz it is take out or delivery only. Parking may be a problem for some. Gem of a place, staff so sweet. I will return.“
“Hidden gem some good fried catfish, mullet, grouper. Food was fresh piping hot. They were friendly and fast, portions were generous. Took away a star because cash or check only. I also wish there was more places to sit we live far and ate in our car as the two tables were taken.“
“The waitress was really pleasant, although she forgot to bring the courtesy bread ? to the table. We had to remind her. We enjoyed the scenery and good taste of the food served. Overall we enjoyed our visit on this day.Parking: We need a drive up parking garage for those dining into the restaurant this would save many from parking across the street.“
