“We went to the location off of Gulf Shores Parkway instead of Fairhope, but my brothers and I had been driving for over an hour looking around for a place to eat. Gulf Shores was seeing some volleyball tournament happening tonight and literally every other restaurant we went to was seeing an hour and a half or even longer of a wait time to be seated. We went to this location after everything else, we were seated immediately, and we were served by one of the most hospitable waitresses I have ever seen. Her name was Fiona and honestly she deserves the best people have to offer. Fiona, if you see this, we appreciate your service tonight! We have eaten at this location before and neither time have been disappointed. Highly recommend to anyone who is going to Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan.“

“Been coming here for 20 years. Had another great visit today....and have been craving the Chicken Nachos since last visit. However, y'all have apparently changed the prep on these nachos since last time....and honestly very disappointing...(just say "no" to pump cheese..yikes). I had the 6 oz. filet with the vegetable of the day (it was a specially made green bean) and the risotto, all of it was AMAZING. Literally the best food to touch my tongue Not only do we love this atmosphere and the best food we have ever eaten, but now it has special meaning as my boyfriend took the opportunity of the beautiful views and the dock outside to propose. I said yes! And now Jesse’s will always be our place, where we can always share an amazing mean and beautiful memories together. “Our go-to spot on our vacation this week.
We always try to find karaoke places when we travel.... and this place (supposedly) does Karaoke nightly. The 3 nights in a row we went, they did have it.

It was a blast. It was a different crowd every night but always seemed to liven up after about 10pm. For as many people that were coming in and out, there were zero issues or drama that unfolded, always a plus in our books. We met some great people. The bartenders were awesome. On our second day to go to Mudbugs, when we walked in the door, the bartender had our drinks ready when he saw us coming in. We didn't even have to order. The tab was never opened under my name, but he knew my name just from talking to me once the night before, and made sure to let me know he remembered my name too. You don't find that kind of service and attention to detail much anymore.

It's a smaller place but roomy at the same time. Parking can be a little confined but manageable.

The decorations inside are unique. And you'll understand when you go inside how they got the name Mudbugs.

Beers are somewhere around $5 range. I never paid much attention to the exact price. Shots a little priceir at $7.25. Usually at the end of the night our tab was still under $100 and that was for 4 people. I dont think they have food here (I never saw anyone with any sort of bar food on their tables anyways.....
10/10 would definitely go here again in our future trips to Orange Beach.“
