“That atmosphere was amazing. Kyla was our server, she was attentive and made our experience wonderful. I had the James Ultimate Shrimp Platter, great choice! Next time I am in Alabama, I will surely return to enjoy another wonderful experience.“
“Food was AMAZING!! Jaylan was an awesome, exciting server; ask for her if you can. All the food was great! The greens were absolutely wonderful! We were too full to try the bushwacker, but it was recommended as well. While driving thru the area, Felix's had been recommended but had an 1:45 wait. We wound up at Ed's Seafood Shed and are extremely happy that we did.“
“This place is pretty awesome! It was a recommendation from our hotel & it didn't disappoint. Located right on the water, the building and decor are of a hip "fish camp". Given the parking lot was full, I had a good feeling we were about to experience something pretty special. The menu was diverse wid a beautiful selection of local fresh seafood. They even have turtle soup! We had crab stuffed whitefish and blackened mahi. Both were absolutely incredible. Everything was spot on and very reasonably priced. A definite must visit if you're in the area!“
“I belive our waitress name was trinity she was an amazing never a long wait patient when we was selecting our order the food was so good go and show the blue gill some love it is such an amazing restaurant with an amazing staff definitely would recommend it definitely going back“
“Good place.Food is phenomenal, and staff is always on point. The wife and I have been in many times, it is not super busy, but I assume that is because it is in a dying mall, that is it's only negative. With such beautiful places around the Bay and Delta, it will always be a second choice to those places on the Causeway, or along waterfront.“
“Great food, great service. I only gave 4 stars on the atmosphere because I wish they had outside seating. Our first time eating crawfish and our waitress was nice enough to show us how to eat them. I got the Redfish, highly recommending. They were extremely busy and we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table and the food came out fast and hot. Will definitely be going back for more things to try on the menu.“
“Fabulous experience! Miles, our waiter, was personable, knowledgeable, and just fun! He made sure my fish was done to perfection. (I highly recommend “The Ruby”!) The view and live music added to the experience. This is going down as one of my favorite eating experiences!“
“The people were friendly. The food was good that we ordered, no complaints there but we prefer the David's Catfish in Atmore, Alabama much better. Their coleslaw is better and if you don't want fried shrimp you have the option of grilled shrimp.“
“One of the best places to eat on the Eastern Shore. We stop in about monthly, and typically sit at the bar, or out on the deck.Never had an issue, service is always on point, people are friendly, food is outstanding.Keep on keeping on! Love you guys and gals!“
“I walked in and bought a pound of jumbo fried shrimp. The service was prompt and friendly. The shrimp were plump and tender, fried just right. My only complaint is that there was a very faint burnt taste in the batter on the shrimp, like the grease had been re-used a little too much, or perhaps the fryer had not been thoroughly cleaned lately. Not terrible, but enough to keep me from giving the food 5 stars. I was pleased overall and will go back.“
“I am not sure of the origin of the name but this restaurant is definitely the real deal. My wife and I had a delightful experience here. The service was very good from a cheerful reception to a friendly and attentive server. The food was also very good, with large portions and a very competitive price. We would most definitely dine here again.Vegetarian options: A few non-meat and seafood dishesDietary restrictions: Staff will try to assist with any restrictions you make them aware ofParking: Lots of parking in the areaKid-friendliness: More an adult environmentWheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible“
“I’m giving this a 5 star review simply because they do not have an option for more than that. Hands down best food in lower Alabama. Between me and the rest of my party I got to try all 3 salads, the pork shank, the scallops, and the teres major dish. Everything I had blew me away. This should be considered a bucket list dining experience for everyone!“
“There's no denying that this is the "class act" dining destination of Mobile, from the beautiful view 34 stories high to the pianist playing light jazz during our Sunday brunch, no doubt they have alot to offer. Which is why I was so very disappointed to have the waitress reach over me to retrieve the bread basket as I was eating! Literally her armpit was at my nose while I was putting a bite of food into my mouth. So when I asked her if you must she replied in a sparky tone "yes I must" and did it a second time. I had expected them to have had better training than that. Otherwise our experience was perfectly delightful. The food was okay yet a good value for the price, with some creative combinations we enjoyed. When we do go back we'll avoid that light brown haired waitress and hope the others are properly trained and she was just learning.“
“If you decide to come here, which I hope this review helps do, you are in for a treat. The hostess was a little wonky. But other than that. EVERYTHING was perfect. Starting with the service. The server was the bartender too from what I could tell. She was extremely kind, friendly, and personable. Recommended a special to my girlfriend that wasn’t on the menu or written on the daily special. It was phenomenal. It was named after their sponsor or partner on the bottom left of the menu, if you’re interested. I ordered the nigiri sampler and it was the best sushi I’ve ever had. In my life. We also had the truffle fries for an appetizer. WOW. Wish it was possible to be served with something other than ketchup on the side but nonetheless it was DIVINE. Lastly the cocktail I ordered, the “Cucumber Collins” was, no exaggeration, the best cocktail I’ve ever had. Homemade cucumber syrup. Not too sweet, not to earthy from the cucumber. If you go anytime, keep in mind they take reservations. Not always necessary during the week but they encourage it.“
“We were greeted warmly as we entered. We had fried green tomatoes and onion rings as appetizers. The tomatoes were sliced in small pieces and were crispy and delicious. The onion rings were very good as well. Our entrees were served. The food was plentiful and very good. The prices are very reasonable. Will definitely go back!“
“Breakfast today was perfect start for the last day of a long road trip. Gal that took care of me was proud to have 6 years working at Bob’s and that the place is coming up on the 10 year anniversary. She and the rest of the crew make the place great!“
“Stopped by for drinks and apps around 3pm. Seated outside under cover by the water. Waitress came and took drink orders. We had a lily pad and Jodi's mojito. Perfectly done, great tasting. We ordered the BBQ shrimp, grouper bites and a side salad . Food came and was well presented and delicious. Our server was observant and did a great job. She suggested dessert and went with the bread pudding with fresh whipped cream. Best I have ever had. Altogether, a wonderful experience. We will be back!“
“We planned to go to the large Cajun restaurant next door, but the wait was an hour. So we walked over to this local place. Outstanding happenstance! My wife ordered fried seafood and her oysters were better than we had in N’Awlins. I had the terrific red beans and rice and catfish portion on top was excellent, and sausage was superb. They have their own vinegar pepper sauce at each table, excellent for vinegar fans. Service A+ and prices the best we’ve seen in a week of driving the gulf coast. Highly recommended!“
“Recently had the pleasure of going to wet willies, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by whitli ( who was very friendly and helpful) . The restaurant's selection of alcoholic beverages was impressive, with a wide range of mixes to choose from. Lastly, Greg over heard our conversation and helped me out. Two great workers glad they were there for my first time.“
“The shrimp Yaki Soba was very goodThe shrimp were better than average which is better than you think because most aren't. It was all fresh and the dipping sauce improved the meal. I don't really like Miso Soup but there's was as good as any. Once you accept the plastic serving bowls and flimsy plastic utensils it was fine. Oh the Japanese orange drink was excellent, not too much sugar.“
