Its pretty tight in the restaurant and outdoor seating is a bit dirty, and there is quite a bit of lunch traffic, so seating is at a premium. Oyster po'boy is good too, but shrimp platter is better.“

“Every little detail has been thought of. Nothing was out of place. The mixed drinks were a perfect mix. The oysters were very cold. The soup was exceptional. The server was extremely friendly and knew her menu. Even the chef came out and checked on us. Our one complaint is the size of 2 types of oysters were VERY small (size of a quarter). I prefer a frozen mingionette shaved ice, though their's is a well balanced version, similar to what is in the PNW. If you want a restaurant that has food with love and is well thought out in every detail, this place is worth it and then some.“

“My granddaughter and I recently dined at Chuck’s Fish to celebrate her graduation. The food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent. We had kimchi Brussels, uptown shrimp, and a delicious sushi roll. Then we really did it up big with the white chocolate bread pudding. The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly and attentive. Can’t say enough about how delicious the meal was. One of the owners came to our table and checked on us to make sure we were being taken care of, which we were. I would highly, highly recommend this place!!!“

“My family loves The Lighthouse! We had the best experience this evening. My sister & I brought our kids after the DI Mardi Gras parade. Two adults with a 6 year old, two 5 year olds, a 1 year old & a 9 month old. We had a 35 minute wait, but it went by fast. We had a great server, she was so sweet. Our girls were a little loud, but the whole restaurant was loud due to it being busy, a drink got spilled but we cleaned it up. We had two older women and a man sit at the table behind us & they were constantly staring, talking about us & our children. I guess we were a bother to them, I was very upset about it. After we paid, a tall man who works in the back came out and told us not to go anywhere yet, that he had something for the girls. He brought out 3 popsicles & opened them for them 🩷 My sister said he had been looking out from behind the counter and thought he had noticed the situation. Even if he didn’t, he was so kind and it made everything better. Just made me love the restaurant even more. Our food was 10/10 as always!“

“It’s been years since I’ve been to the Boiling Pot and I’m so glad we decided to visit on Tuesday. The food was EXCELLENT. Everything we ordered we enjoyed. We had a steamed platter, popcorn shrimp platter, shrimp and catfish platter and the crawfish bread. Everything was perfect, even the sides. The crawfish bread was insanely good. The prices were also quite reasonable. The shrimp was big, even the popcorn shrimp. I will definitely be back.“

“I Went Captain Ds on government street yesterday! (4/18/23)About 5ish drive thru! Customer services was amazing the drive thru young lady cashier was so friendly. The cooked had passion about his food you can tell how my food was plated in box up I order giant fish sandwich and 2pc Batter fish added shrimps and stuffed crabs! Everything was hot and fresh! “I’ve lived in mobile for 23 years, and up until about 2 years ago, I drove past this place everyday without ever even knowing what it was, stopped in one day and it was absolutely packed out on the inside, so automatically that’s a good sign to me, if you got this many people up in your spot at 1:30-2:00 in the afternoon when lunchtime has already kinda died down, you know you’re about to have some absolutely killer food. They have literally anything you could want, seafood, wings, chicken gizzards, you name it, I personally always get that personal platter or the happy tails fries, those are my go to’s, but everything I’ve ever tried off their menu has been absolute gold. Takes a while to get your food sometimes, but they make everything to order, so that’s to be expected, which I don’t mind at all because my food is always fresh and hot by the time it comes out to me. The guys who work there are also always friendly and if you go in there 3-4 times they’ll even start to recognize you. I really can’t recommend this place enough, great food, great service, and you literally cannot beat the price. This place is a 10/10, and I recommend it to all my friends and people I meet around mobile.“

“Great food the atmosphere was okay at the time the man was not very receptive because it's kind of young and kind of dismissive but there were two young children that were behind the counter kind of helping him so it made it worth it because they were just adorable and they were fast and friendly and they gave us a great service but the man behind the desk and I mean the counter we had a laugh the two channels are in behind the counter make it all made it all worth it great customer service and the two little girls“
