She reminded me of a Parisian shopkeeper; she knows and cares about your selections! And she was an IU Mendoza fan so this IU grad is firmly in her fan club!”

“Look, if you want delicious, hot fresh food, this is the place. My go to is sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice. Delicious. I also enjoy their lo mein. The best eggrolls around too. The building has definitely seen better days, but the food is well worth looking that over.”

The food is a 10/10 and beyond, they might be a little slow but it really is worth the wait and you can really tell it’s authentic Mexican food (I’ve been to Mexico Tampico to be exact) and the food makes me feel as if I was in Tampico again ❤️🥰 (try the gorditas they are so delicious)”

“Went the other night with a friend and had a great time. Open till 2am. Small, but nice atmosphere, everyone was nice, great bartenders. Good prices. Feels like a nice southern at home hoot-a-nanny !! I would definitely reccomend to locals who are looking for another place to go. Also has some game machines slot wise, and 2 pool tables. Fun place to go with friends.”

“We visited the gardens at the height of the azalea blooming last week—it was Spectacular! And had heard good things about the cafe, so stopped in for lunch. It was leisurely and personable, and perfectly reminiscent of a Southern lunch in any small town. The tuna salad sandwich with tomato and lettuce, and the sweet tea were perfection, and the peach cobbler was to die for! Of course the surroundings were lovely. We also stopped by the well-stocked gift shop.”
