“We've dined at the Dauphin's a few times before during previous visits to Mobile, AL and always enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, this recent visit during Memorial Day weekend was a bit of a letdown. While the service was okay, the food left much to be desired. The main issue was the white fish of the day limon style, which was overcooked ~ extremely dry and hard with a side of overcooked, slimey asparagus. This was quite disappointing, especially since it's a dish I've enjoyed here in the past. However, the rest of the items we ordered were pretty good, maintaining the quality I've come to expect. I have to add that portions are above average size so if you're looking to try dessert, you may want to skip appetizers. One consistent highlight is the view from the 34th floor, which is simply amazing and adds a wonderful ambiance to the dining experience, especially during sunset. The cocktail with thyme is also great. Overall, this visit was not as impressive as previous ones, but I hope it was just an off night for the kitchen. We may give it another chance due to the beautiful setting and the generally good food we've had in the past. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I'd only be able to give it 3 stars.”

The bartenders at POST are true artists. They craft cocktails with precision and flair. I tried the Watermelon Mule, and it was a revelation—innovative, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. They also offer a diverse selection of craft beers and artisanal spirits, so there’s something for every palate.

What really stood out was the service. The staff were not only friendly but also genuinely passionate about their craft. They took the time to chat and make recommendations, ensuring that everyone at the table was happy with their drinks and enjoying their time.

The bar also features a small but impressive menu of appetizers and snacks. The pizza was a delicious surprise—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect pairing with the drinks.

The vibe at Post is both lively and laid-back, striking the perfect balance between energy and relaxation. Whether you’re in the mood for an intimate conversation or a fun night out with friends, this bar delivers on all fronts.

In short, Post has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town. If you’re looking for exceptional cocktails, excellent service, and a great atmosphere, you absolutely need to check this place out!”

“My granddaughter and I recently dined at Chuck’s Fish to celebrate her graduation. The food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent. We had kimchi Brussels, uptown shrimp, and a delicious sushi roll. Then we really did it up big with the white chocolate bread pudding. The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly and attentive. Can’t say enough about how delicious the meal was. One of the owners came to our table and checked on us to make sure we were being taken care of, which we were. I would highly, highly recommend this place!!!”

“This is a somewhat hidden gem in the city of mobile. I decided to try this place for dinner and I must say it did not disappoint at all! The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun, energetic and overall family & friends oriented. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and make honest suggestions which is always a plus. I am a fan of oysters and these did not miss the mark! They were not chewy and they were filled with flavor. The cocktails are something you can’t miss out on; they do not water them down and they get the job done. The steak was cooked to perfection! When the chef came around to the table I gave him praises for having one of the top steaks in the city hands down. The potato’s that were paired with it honestly left me speechless; just delicious! The wedge salad was simple, fresh and packed with flavor. The soft shell crab on the bed of greens paired so well together and the way the flavors meshed together is just wonderful! Up to this point everything was beyond great so it was only right to try the desserts! The crème brûlée was good however the pineapple upside down cake stole the show!! The waiter explained that this wasn’t a “pop in the microwave” type of dessert so it would take a little extra time but would be worth it. He did not lie!! You could taste the quality and difference from that of other restaurants. If you have not tried this place yet you are missing out on a great experience. After trying the food I understand why they have so many awards and have been featured on food network.

Parking: There is parking around the restaurant itself however there is a designated parking lot a few feet down on the left past the restaurant.”

“We drive from Pensacola to have lunch here about once a month. The food is always good and portions are generous. Resturant is a little hard to find because it is on the side and back of the building. There usually no wait to be seated and entree are served in a reasonable amount of time.”

I had really wanted biscuits and gravy, but we're told they had none made (a different lady called out), when I was ordering with our waitress. If she already knew that, then how long had their been no gravy?!?... Ain't everything on the menu supposed to be avail around the clock?!?

Now to the food/ grill cook: The food and presentation were of the chain!... Hats off to the grill cook/ master though! We didn't catch his name, but was told he has worked there a very long time, (Big/ tall black fella).

I got a sugar free coconut/sugar free salted caramel iced coffee that was great; not too sweet, not too bitter. We utilized the outdoor seating area, which was gated, so it was great to let my toddler “be a toddler,” without disturbing others. The only thing that would have made it better would be canopies or shade over the outdoor seating area. We will be back!”

The ladies seemed tense and unfriendly. Somewhat moody. But that may have been due to language barriers. Several people in our group had to explain things a few times before it was understood. But that's understandable. Overall, it was a nice visit. The food was tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the crab Rangoon. There was no crab. And it was way too sweet. But I ordered the Mongolian Empire, and I highly recommend it!

“This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I couldn’t have chosen a better location. I knew the food had to be quite delicious when I saw the long drive thru line.

I dined in and enjoyed the traditional chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. I’ll admit while the chicken salad was delectable (I ordered some to-go), my croissant was a bit dry and the pickle that came with the meal was not firm nor crispy.

Those things aside, the staff is very pleasant and they get your order to you with a sense of urgency. They also work diligently to keep the dining area clean, and they’re doing a great job.

During my time at this location, I was able to knock out some work and enjoyed listening to a teacher and her former student catch up. I’d visit this location again and highly recommend it.

Lastly, I want to share my appreciation for the affordable cost of the food. In this day and age when greasy burger joints are charging $20+, I really appreciate being able to have a fresh, non-greasy meal for no more than $12. Thank you.”

“Delish! What a great little spot we found on our first night in town. Fresh gyros, chicken sandwiches, soups and sides. We were told the carbonara orzo side was the best and it truly was. The 2 young guys working were friendly, outgoing and truly a joy to talk with. staff was awesome. We had made tried the sausage they used before and they gave us a sample, as well as the soups and oh my gosh, they were divine. If we had more room or lived locally, we would have taken a quart or two of either one of the soups: today there was a taco soup and a beef noodle one. I highly recommend either one. Everything was fresh, serving sizes were adequate and prices were fair. If you are in the area, check it out; you won't be disappointed.”
