“This was a tough review for me. Party of 3. We had never been to Dumbwaiter before and I had a work colleague with us. I had been given rave reviews from others. Very nice restaurant. Atmosphere was great. We arrived at 6:15 and was seated immediately. We got the first round of drinks quickly and ended up ordering an appetizer. It was delicious. Then, we waited and waited and waited some more and ordered more drinks and waited some more. Our waitress apologized. Apparently, the kitchen was backed up. Odd thing was the table beside us sat at least 20 min after us and received their entrees before us. They even ate and were leaving by the time we got our entrees. The food would have been great. I can tell it would have but my girlfriend's plate died. Steak was dry and sauce had a film over it. Grits had dried out. Had it all been fresh, I'm sure it would have been great. Service from the waitress was great but the kitchen failed us on this one.“

“Been a while since I’d eaten here and I’d forgotten how good their food was. Simple, tasty recipes with fresh ingredients and friendly service. Outdoor & indoor seating plus a drive thru. What’s not to like?
Pro tip - try the Kicking Kay Lynn. Just a little bite, but exceptional taste.“

“Dinner last night with friends was delicious. Our service was excellent from our pre drinks at the bar, then to our table with Lois! Crab claws, stuffed peppers, veal, duck, scallops, fish and steak filled our table and our bellies. We also tried four different desserts. All was a 10/10. We love coming to Grace for great service, atmosphere, and delicious food. We will be back again soon! Thank you“

“We actually had Chicken Salad Chick (partially) cater our son’s wedding. Ali and Aslynn were phenomenal to work with. They set up, helped serve and even helped to clean up afterwards. They truly went above and beyond with their service and their food. This was a late afternoon wedding and this food fit in perfectly with the time of day and our budget. Thank you Chicken Salad Chick for having such great people to work with.“

“Had the special pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and what not on it and it was really good. The pulled pork was a little dry but the coleslaw and sauce overshadowed that.
Fries had really good flavor and perfect consistency.
The banana pudding was great. You can tell it's made fresh probably daily, I assume, because the cookies still had a little crunch to them.

“I went there Sunday with Vicki Horn Gray. I had the N'awlins Grits with shrimp, what a wake up to the palate. The best food I have had in forever. I cannot wait to go back and try more menu items. I don't think I could be disappointed with anything I ordered. A big thank you to the Chef for bringing it!“

“This place is phenomenal! I am a chef and restaurant owner myself and I was blown away. The simplicity and freshness of the dishes is commendable. Treating fresh local ingredients so well and not over complicating the plate is a rare thing. Most chefs try to show you how "cheffy" they are. Get the Carolina Gold Rice with the Blue Crab. It's the perfect dish. Fresh Crab, the rice is perfection and would make southern food enthusiasts like Sean Brock ask for seconds. We'll done!“
