“I remember sitting on an old picnic table outside the DEW DROP over 70 years ago, drinking a big bottle of Coke with my Dad, Chris Bailey Jr., my Uncle, Kenny Crow, while they enjoyed several beers while visiting with friends. Today, I brought my friend, Andy Carr by with my son, Chris Bailey IV, along with Joe Alberstadt, to enjoy a delicious Dew Drop hot dog, some fries, onion rings, and a cup of Gumbo, before he heads west for Yuma, on a new job assignment. “Our family had a wonderful experience dining here! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming service. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and perfect for families of all sizes.
The menu had something for everyone—kids, adults, and even picky eaters. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can really tell that the ingredients are high quality and made with care. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything was well-prepared.
The kids loved their meals, and the staff was very kind and patient with them. For the adults, the main dishes were delicious and filling, and the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to a great meal.
Overall, this is a place where you feel at home, enjoy good food, and make great memories with family. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others!

“Great spot for a bite with the guys while in the Mobile area. Recommend the crawfish dip, it doesn't make it around the table twice. Our server (Katie) was great with the orders and helping out our large party.“

“We enjoyed everything about our visit to Dauphin’s from the beautiful panoramic view to the relaxing dining experience. The music was wonderfully nostalgic. “[Less of a review and more of an inspection]: Im moderately concerned why their bottled/canned sodas are 1 to 2 years out of date. One of the diet cokes is borderline clear from age. They need to refresh their shipment on sofa drinks. because thats a health code violation to sell expired products to the general public. They did not seem very aware of this being an issue when it was brought up.“

“Best breakfast place EVER!! We recently found The Toasted Yolk as we live across the bay. We were looking for a new spot. Genuinely best breakfast ever. The thing that stands out to me most is the freshness of the food!! The environment is so bright, cheery and welcoming. Keesha was our waitress and she was so attentive and friendly. Our daughter is at college and we are so ready for her to come home so we can bring her! I can’t recommend this place enough!! We will certainly be back!!“
