“The manager on duty was micromanging the heck out of this wonderful team. Food and service was great but how he talked down to them you could clearly see that he was the issue. When he took one of his many bathroom breaks the entire team seemed to have a weight lifted. Keep up the great work guys and let his comments roll off your backs!!“
“My husband and I went here late the other night. It was my first time here. I ordered the fish snack and all I can say is " Thank u" . It's about time I found a place that doesn't over spice their fish and just makes it right. I've gone back 2x since the first night and still the fish is perfect. My only complaint is that it takes about 20 mins or more to receive my order through the drive thru, but for me it is completely worth it. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who isn't in any type of rush.“

“We finally got to eat at the new location. Got 2 steamed combos and fried shrimp and oysters. The garlic butter was either a little spicy or they put the wrong seasoning. Shrimp and crab were a little hard to peel. However, overall, everything was very tasty. Prices were very good also. Restaurant was very clean. They were very busy but service was fast and friendly. They have indoor dining available, but we brought ours home. I would recommend K&D for sure.“

“Have been here many times for dinner over the years when we visit our friends in Grand Bay. They enjoy it and they enjoy taking us to one of their favorite places. Never had a bad meal or service. Never had any problems with any of the other businesses in the stripmall or with parking. They are about serving good food at reasonable prices. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as well as knowing ahead of time the food will be good. We need to support our local businesses - not tear them down.“

“I drive motor coach buses for a living, me and another bus were passing through with 2 buses of college students, headed back to Auburn Alabama from New Orleans. I stopped us all by the shopping area there so that they would have an assortment of food choices. They all kinda flocked to 2 places which meant lines. I walked over to this place to grab a couple of sides, and purchased my coworker a chicken sandwich combo.The staff was nice and friendly, the place was clean. “The meals here are delicious, and are very well priced. I had the seafood platter, and well, I normally do not eat fried food, everything was great. Being from the north, I am not familiar with hush puppies, but they were excellent. The food was a little slow coming out, but it was well worth the wait. The ambience is lacking, however, when you're with good company, it really doesn't matter.“
