My family loves The Lighthouse! We had the best experience this evening. My sister & I brought our kids after the DI Mardi Gras parade. Two adults with a 6 year old, two 5 year olds, a 1 year old & a 9 month old. We had a 35 minute wait, but it went by fast. We had a great server, she was so sweet. Our girls were a little loud, but the whole restaurant was loud due to it being busy, a drink got spilled but we cleaned it up. I've been here a few times and loved the food! Service was quick, staff was friendly, food was hot and delicious.
The atmosphere inside & outside is so much brighter and welcoming now compared to how it was. Inside used to be dark/dull feeling & now it's brighter & it feels a lot cleaner. Also the food is absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend the lighthouse now when it comes to eating out and seafood. Props to the new owners.

The Lighthouse Restaurant offers delicious and well-priced meals, featuring fresh seafood and excellent fried shrimp. The perfectly cooked fried shrimp, crab claws, and fried catfish are delicious. While the building is a little old and the atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, the great service and southern hospitality from very nice and helpful staff create an enjoyable dining experience. The seafood platter and very good hush puppies are particular standouts on the menu.
