“The seafood here is phenomenal! We ordered the shrimp platter and the catfish platter. The shrimp were huge...the biggest I have ever eaten! The catfish were delicious as well. Our friends suggested Bayou Seafood, and we are glad they did! This is an excellent stop just off I-10 before Mobile and Tillmans Corner. We highly recommend!!!“

“Quality is typically very good. although inconistant. occasionally, dending on the cook, fish can be over cooked. Please, never put sugar in hush puppies. Is there a Yankie cook on board, if so educate this person or send this person back North.“

“Great customer service. Super friendly every time we go. Wish the parking was better, but no big deals since everyone is basically in and out. We've never waited a long period of time for cooked food. The store could use some updates, but it is to be expected from a seafood restaurant.“

“OMG you have to try this place out!! My family was on our way home to TX from FL. Stopped in Mobile for a nights rest. We love to try out local joints, and we are so glad we picked this place. Everything was wonderful, from food to service. $15.99 all you can eat chicken and sides was amazing!! You have to try this place out if you are in the area.“

“Our family stopped by JJ’s for lunch when we came in town and it was delicious. We ordered po-boy, fried shrimp & fish dinner and all you can eat chicken. Everyone cleaned their plate! We will be back again.“
“What else can I say but WOW. We stopped by for a dozen shucked oysters on a half shell and we're not disappointed. The oysters were smooth and buttery with just the slightest hint of brine. No need to add salt, these are perfect just the way they are. Friendly staff and some of the best tasting oysters I've ever had. They are family owned and operated with a unique story. “My mom didn't like her meat being overcooked, and she said the baked beans were almost cold. I enjoyed my plate!! You've got to keep my mom as a satisfied customer because she's the one who lives there. I love y'all!! That's why every time I choose "Dick Russell's" when I come for mom's and my lunch.“

“We ordered takeout, a lot of wings, and it was ready in 15 minutes! We got two flavors: spicy ranch and lemon pepper rub. Both were really good. They don’t skimp on the celery order or ranch. Wings were HOT and good sized. Not cheap but ended up being worth it!“

“Delicious ? visiting area. Ate there several times!! Seasoned fries, burgers with all the trimmings, spicy but awesome jalapeno poppers!! Best I've ever eaten! The staff are amazing at Bayou La Batre. They are funny, happy, great friendly service made to order. Awesome chicken strips !! My fur babies love them too. We will be back!!“
“Only bought drinks today, but have the BEST lemonade around (we refer to it as "hood koolaid"...) Love their fish platter too, ample food for what you order.. You order a 1 PC. fish, but it has 4 filets and the fixin's too go with it!“

“I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The food is a 10/10 and beyond, they might be a little slow but it really is worth the wait and you can really tell it’s authentic Mexican food (I’ve been to Mexico Tampico to be exact) and the food makes me feel as if I was in Tampico again ❤️🥰 (try the gorditas they are so delicious)“

“First time. I was pleased, the lemon pepper crawfish were hot and big also. I ordered corn and eggs as well and I'm glad to say they were fresh and seasoned good too. The eggs actually tasted good and not rubbery like they had been sitting all day.“
