We are staying on Dauphin Island but heard this restaurant is very good. We took a little drive to try it out. Definitely glad we did. Worth the quick drive from the island. We had 3 kids and 4 adults. The kids had cheeseburgers and fries. The adults had fantail shrimp, shrimp po boys and chicken tenders. The shrimp was fantastic! Fantastic place to eat. Crab cakes are the best by far and the service is great.
A great Bayou la Batre type restaurant with good food and service. If you want all of the frills that you'll most likely pay extra, go to a Franchised restaurant in the city and miss all of the shrimp boats and ship builders in the area. Sure they make a mistake every once and awhile, many are far worse since covid. I like it !
