“We were there at a few minutes past 10:30; the stopped serving breakfast at 10:30 but the waitress told us we could be "snuck in" for breakfast. I had the Western Omelet: loaded with toppings, cheese on top. 2 biscuits (were a bit dry, but WAS at the end of the breakfast time), grits (or hash browns). Big servings. Very good. Husband had the bacon and cheese omelet. Said there was a lot of bacon in it. He also had grits and biscuits, coffee. The price came out to $22.00. Not bad for serving sizes. Seated quickly, food came quickly. They did have a lunch buffet: spaghetti, meat loaf, chicken, veggies. Seemed to be a favorite of most of the people there. Did have menu service for lunch.“
“I have to give places like this at least 4 stars because I almost feel like I'd be being ugly to someone's mawmaw if I spoke ill of it..... if that makes sense. That's the vibe it gives; a down home country kitchen where you just come in and make yourself at home. You can smell the fried chicken from the parking lot and what an amazing smell it is! I opted for the country fried steak and was happy with my choice- it was enough food that I had it for lunch and I'll be having the rest for dinner! The crab claws were so fresh I think they may have caught them that morning. Everything was hot and fresh and tasty and the service was as friendly as it comes. I was disappointed that there was no longer a salad bar- but our waitress offered to make us a salad so that's not really a valid complaint. I'm sure I'll eat there again and I'd recommend anyone passing through looking for a nice home cooked meal to definitely give it a try.“
“Great food, great service. My only problem is the cook touched all manners of food and didn't change his gloves. Meat, poultry, eggs, hashbrowns, bread, you name it. Serious cross contamination. Please do better. And they seriously need to answer the phone.“
“Asked people at courthouse for recommendations for resturant and the response was that there are no restaurants we can recommend. Well it's our good fortune to find this little gem right near the courthouse. We had the best stuffed pepper soup filled with meat and peppers! Tried fried green beans for a change and had wraps that were both delicious. The wait staff was attentive and prompt and the facility was clean. We recommend this little restaurant without hesitation! We ate the food so fast that we forgot to take pictures. The prices are reasonable as well. Our servers initials is Skylar.“
