Treating fresh local ingredients so well and not over complicating the plate is a rare thing. Most chefs try to show you how "cheffy" they are. Get the Carolina Gold Rice with the Blue Crab. It's the perfect dish. Fresh Crab, the rice is perfection and would make southern food enthusiasts like Sean Brock ask for seconds. We'll done!”

“Been here numerous times and always a positive experience!! Bloody Marys are THE BEST IVE EVER HAD and yesss, they really do have real squid ink in them. I PROMISE you, they’re better than anywhere else I’ve ever been, everrrr. Every single variety of the Bao are out of this world, I can’t decide which one is my favorite. Teens say the burgers are BOMB, hot chicken sandwich is amazing too. Atmosphere is super inviting, servers are always so friendly, informative, great at recommendations, and if outdoor seating is your thing- they have picnic tables with seats that are made to swing!!!!!!!”

“The owner, the food, the service, everything was absolutely phenomenal. Ordered a crepe it was cooked perfectly and filled with the toppings i wanted. On top of that the owner and also cook overheard me wanting to try churros and gave me a sample of churros of my choice free of charge. He brought our food out to us on the porch, checked on us, and then offered us free drinks as well. The owner was more than accommodating and was absolutely so sweet. best service i’ve had in a while. absolutely would recommend.”

“My granddaughter and I recently dined at Chuck’s Fish to celebrate her graduation. The food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent. We had kimchi Brussels, uptown shrimp, and a delicious sushi roll. Then we really did it up big with the white chocolate bread pudding. The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly and attentive. Can’t say enough about how delicious the meal was. One of the owners came to our table and checked on us to make sure we were being taken care of, which we were. I would highly, highly recommend this place!!!”

The staff is incredible—they greeted us with a personal anniversary placard and "Happy Anniversary" wishes from everyone we passed. A huge shout-out to our waiter, David, who was spot-on all night. We were really impressed by the service—they bring the food out with a full team so everyone at the table is served at the exact same time. It’s those little professional touches that make this place stand out. The highlight was the live music by Bobby Butchka.
