A game of pool and a drink here and there we do enjoy, the food has always been pretty decent for it's price and being "BAR FOOD". “The Tree is a humble little restaurant on a quiet street in derelict downtown Prichard, where it is a welcome breath of fresh air. Went with my dog and sat outside, so I only got to see the tiny patio with just a couple of tables and the counter where you place your order. It's a bare-bones, no-nonsense kind of spot, but neatly maintained. Ordered ribs, which were done in the typical Gulf-coast style (sweet), collards, and banana pudding. The food is standard "soul" fare, no surprises. A little vinegar on the ribs would cut the syrupy quality (and, for that matter, would be nice on the collards as well). The pudding reminded me of a school cafeteria, and not in a good way. Staff and customers were all warm and friendly. Drinks, even the non-alcoholic ones, are obtained, mysteriously, from another part of the establishment, presumably the bar, so I skipped the beverage. (The server would have brought me one if I had asked.) I'll be back to try their other offerings. It looks like a reliable, reasonably-priced place. Huge parking lot across the street.Parking: Ample”

“There's no denying that this is the "class act" dining destination of Mobile, from the beautiful view 34 stories high to the pianist playing light jazz during our Sunday brunch, no doubt they have alot to offer. Which is why I was so very disappointed to have the waitress reach over me to retrieve the bread basket as I was eating! Literally her armpit was at my nose while I was putting a bite of food into my mouth. So when I asked her if you must she replied in a sparky tone "yes I must" and did it a second time. I had expected them to have had better training than that. Otherwise our experience was perfectly delightful. The food was okay yet a good value for the price, with some creative combinations we enjoyed. When we do go back we'll avoid that light brown haired waitress and hope the others are properly trained and she was just learning.”

I decided to walk in and try this place and man I ate it twice in one day it was so freakin good. I even recorded my burger and edited a short video about it. I don’t know what they did to that cow, but it was definitely HAMMERED before it got to my plate lol. On a serious note, from the SERVICE to the SANDWICH, from the TALK to the TASTE, from the FRYER to the FINGERS, everything was just totally good. “Ok, so the way that I found this place was so out the ordinary but, I'm glad I did! The food is GREAT! My daughter had the cheese burger combo with fries and a sweet tea. The fries were well seasoned and the tea was sweet and fresh. We both shared wings, which were so good! We tried the breaded lemon ? pepper and garlic parmesan flavors. Unlike other establishments the flavors tasted like they were baked into the wings although they were fried.? Everything is made to order, so your food is hot and fresh when you receive it. Last but not least, the customer service was A-1 ? This is the type of place I don't mind spending my money at. 10/10”

“We are visiting, and we're originally from New york. It is very difficult find good authentic italian food. Lemme tell you, this place is the real deal, real authentic sicilian sauce, meatballs etc. And the canolies were incredible, as well as the italian creme cake. If you make it to mobile Alabama, you HAVE to get to this place!!! 5 stars was not enough, 15 out of 5 from me!!! Im coming here every time we visit our son!!!! ??”

“This was one of the few places open early afternoon around 4pm, which was one of the only times my wife and I were available to have a date meal. This met all expectations, it was not busy (at that time we had the place to ourselves), food was delicious. I listened to the recommendations from the waitress and was not disappointed. We had the biscuit service, marinated crab claws, pulled duck and grits, wine. Highly recommend. Location is odd, seems to be just another house in a neighborhood, parking is available in a little lot nearby.Parking: Small parking lot around the back and side just a small bit down the block.”
