“This place is phenomenal! I am a chef and restaurant owner myself and I was blown away. The simplicity and freshness of the dishes is commendable. Treating fresh local ingredients so well and not over complicating the plate is a rare thing. Most chefs try to show you how "cheffy" they are. Get the Carolina Gold Rice with the Blue Crab. It's the perfect dish. Fresh Crab, the rice is perfection and would make southern food enthusiasts like Sean Brock ask for seconds. We'll done!”

“Every little detail has been thought of. Nothing was out of place. The mixed drinks were a perfect mix. The oysters were very cold. The soup was exceptional. The server was extremely friendly and knew her menu. Even the chef came out and checked on us. Our one complaint is the size of 2 types of oysters were VERY small (size of a quarter). I prefer a frozen mingionette shaved ice, though their's is a well balanced version, similar to what is in the PNW. If you want a restaurant that has food with love and is well thought out in every detail, this place is worth it and then some.”

“My granddaughter and I recently dined at Chuck’s Fish to celebrate her graduation. The food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent. We had kimchi Brussels, uptown shrimp, and a delicious sushi roll. Then we really did it up big with the white chocolate bread pudding. The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly and attentive. Can’t say enough about how delicious the meal was. One of the owners came to our table and checked on us to make sure we were being taken care of, which we were. I would highly, highly recommend this place!!!”

The staff is incredible—they greeted us with a personal anniversary placard and "Happy Anniversary" wishes from everyone we passed. A huge shout-out to our waiter, David, who was spot-on all night. We were really impressed by the service—they bring the food out with a full team so everyone at the table is served at the exact same time.
