“Came here for lunch. It was a different experience for me. I created my own bowl with white rice, Gyro lamb, olives, topped with hummus and a side of pita bread. Washed it all down with their sweet tea. It was delicious!!! The staff and atmosphere was nice!! Glad my son recommended this place!“
“I live in northern Virginia and I came back to Mobile just for them. Could not go back to VA without getting my favorite mixed plate. To get the most out of it, I get it with no veggies. There’s no part of the meal that I do not love, it’s so delicious. Even after reheating it is still good. It is always freshly made and the wait isn’t long. The couple that owns the place is also very kind. They also have a drive thru which makes it so convenient.“
“So I was out in mobile area visiting my sister and I just looked up a restaurant to eat at near by her home before I stopped in. Well this place popped and I am so glad it did. I was excited to have some Mediterranean food. So I stopped in. When I drove up I have to be honest it looked a little small. So I walked in and saw a bar and thought well if the food isn’t good I will just drink. The menu was a little different then other restaurants of similar food I am familiar with but I decided to give it a chance. I ordered the Lamb Chops and boy I am glad I did. They were outstanding!!!! The lamb chops tasted like they have been marinated in a Mediterranean garlic-spice rub--a combination of garlic, fresh mint with warm spices like allspice, cardamom, nutmeg, and paprika. Then they seem marinade them with onions, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil. I am no chef but that is what I kind of tasted. Then they seem to cook these lamb chops in a cast iron skillet for a little and then place them on the grill for char marks. After the lamb chops are cooked they seem to make a butter and white wine sauce from the leftovers in the skillet. It is served over garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. Oh my it was all so good. Normally I would have to take home leftovers but this time I ate the entire plate. It is worth a try. I will be back to try their pizzas“
“Love this restaurant! Food is always delicious & filling. Great to have this healthy choice.Was disappointed this trip. Staff was not very attentive. The dining area was dirty (floor dirty+trash in many spots, the dining area had MANY tables that had not been cleared & the restroom needed attention. I was surprised because most Tazikis I've been in are spotless.“
“This little gem is worthy of going out of your way to find. The owner is very friendly, and provides a personal touch, and a proper dining experience. The food is incredible, with good portions and some of the best baclava anywhere. We had grouper and it was fresh and perfectly prepared with a lemon sauce. We also got the lasagna for a totally different taste, and it was as good as anywhere, better than most, served on angel hair pasta. Prices are quite reasonable, especially for the types of meals offered.“
