“I wasn't a fan of sitting so close and out in the open. The table my husband and I were seated at was directly in front of the entrance. Right where people are checking out or waiting to be helped.It was V-day, so of course it was nonstop hustling and bustling.A staff member called to inform us our table was ready. We said ok, we're walking in. (We were literally in the parking lot shutting the doors to our car). As we were approaching, a host? had menus and flatware in her hand, peeked her head out the doors, walked back inside and was telling her coworkers "they're not here. Who's next?" and proceeded to put the menus and stuff aside.My husband stepped up and said "we're right here!" All she said was "oh" and showed us to our seats.I get it. It's probably one of the busiest nights for restaurants, but we were literally about 10ft away when they called us to be seated. Sheesh. Impatient much?Other than that, the parmasean chicken was juicy and flavorful. My mashed potatoes were cold, but good.Our waitress was polite and attentive. Food came out in a timely fashion, Considering how busy they were.Hats off to the employees (all but that one host) because it was absolute chaos and they were on their A game“
“When we first started patronizing Longhorns, you could not beat their food and service but in the past couple of years, the service has slowly declined. There used to be a manager or 2 that would come to your table and introduce themselves and ask, "how are you enjoying your meal". Now you get mediocre service but the food is usually pretty good,“
“Seems like every time I do an online order, it's either a hit or miss. Today was a miss. I was missing butter and sour cream, not the end of the world. At least, my steak was properly cooked this time. So I caulk this up as a win.But seriously, you guys need to do a better job.“
“Passing on a return trip from Slidell, LA. Natalie suggested the Philly cheese steak rolls for an appetizer which were great! We had the chicken fingers with grilled asparagus and Mac n cheese and Pprtobello Chicken dish. Everything came out quickly and fast! Natalie did a fabulous job making us feel welcomed! Thanks for a great dining experience.“
