I eat here often and it is always so good! I highly recommend the grilled pork with the fried egg added but everything I've had so far has been delicious!
I took my daughter here, and she enjoyed her sandwich. There are very few vegetarian options so I didn't order here, but the shop is quaint and has good service. It's also very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The sandwiches are large and about $7.

Banh Mi Cafe is a much-needed addition to Mobile, offering delicious sandwiches that make customers want to come back. The classic banh mi is super yum, and many want to try them all. It is considered the best banh mi on the Gulf by some. The bread is what makes the sandwich really stand out, baked fresh every day. The staff is friendly, super kind, and the prices are incredibly priced and great.
The menu is very small, with only about 6-7 different sandwiches and 4 different drinks. Some hope they expand it. The sandwiches are good and great, though one reviewer noted the French bread was not as authentic as expected and the sandwich could be dry without the provided "butter" (mayonnaise). The meat wasn't lacking flavor but could use a bit more seasoning, and the beef was a bit dry. They have fresh spring rolls that are prepackaged but made fresh daily and are pretty good. For drinks, they have a sugarcane drink available with kumquat or durian flavor.
A minor critique is that they do not have hoisin and fish sauce for their sandwiches, only soy sauce. Located next to a shopping plaza, it is a go-to spot for a quick lunch and a decent banh mi spot in the area.
