Moe's Original BBQ Downtown Mobile is a popular spot for delicious barbecue, offering a first-class atmosphere and cleanliness. The brisket sandwich is a standout, with tender meat and a great value on Wednesdays. Pulled pork is very good, with heavenly pork that is definitely flavorful, a nice change from other places. The fried catfish sandwich is also delicious, providing another great option. Homemade potato chips are a tasty side, and the slaw was excellent. While there are no vegetarian options, meat and fish lovers will appreciate the variety of dishes available. The mac and cheese is a good choice. The BBQ sauce is heavy on the mustard, but still enjoyable. The milkshakes are delicious, with seasonal ones available, including for Mardi Gras. The service is friendly and quick, with food coming out hot and ready in less than 10 minutes, and the price matches the quality of the food. The waiter was awesome to talk to and able to give recommendations. Ordering was a breeze and service was prompt.
