I really like supporting local business wherever I travel. This is undoubtedly a local gem because it's been here the 19 years I've been coming to Dauphin Island. My only complaint is the majority of their produce seems to come from hot house sellers like Winn Dixie or Walmart. I'm looking for fresh by June, and I don't care if they are only offering half peaches and half tomatoes. Hot house tomatoes by the first part of June in lower Alabama are just uck.
I always stop by here when I come back from any beach moment Dauphin Island. They have the best produce ever, not to mention the boiled peanuts are to die for! The owner is always so kind and helpful! 13/10 recommend stopping here for your produce needs, it's the best!

Typical small produce stand with an assortment of local fruit, veggies and all manner of canned/pickled things. This was a quick stop on the way to the beach(Pensacola, not Dauphin Island) and was a 15min detour. But really I only know this place for one thing, boiled peanuts. My friend from Nola did a detour for this place one year looking for this spot based on memory from a few years earlier. Me personally, as a Michigander, I want nothing to do with boiled peanuts.
