We are here on vacation! Yesterday we were there and had cold beers and great Royal Reds!! Shannon was our server and he was great!! We went back today! We got to visiting with Jim. Ordered from the small plate menu for a late lunch. I had the fish basket. It was very good. It came with red potatoes, green beans, and cole slaw. It was lots of food to be called a "small" plate. I also enjoyed a cup of gumbo. It's now one of my favorites. Carlee our server did an amazing job. We were very well pleased with our lunch for the day!
The food was worth the short wait. (We arrived right when they opened) Tuna steak was cooked perfectly, along with the salad and rice made a great lunch. Mom enjoyed her green beans and shark bites. (not greasy) I would have given them 4 stars, except for the staff. When we first arrived we overheard both the outdoor waitresses griping about customers and the fans not being on. Not the way one would like to start their lunch. The gentleman who dropped off our food was friendly.
