Topsail Steamer Seafood is a highlight of any trip to Gulf Shores. The seafood is incredibly fresh and the flavor is outstanding. Guests pick up their steamer pot and cook it together at their condo or beach house, making it a fun and memorable experience. It is an easy option for families, a nice departure from loading up the whole family to go out to dinner. The guys at Topsail are great, explain how to prepare the steam pots, and help load everything into a truck. The food comes out perfect with easy instructions. The Low Country Shrimp Boil (High Ride) feeds 4-5 people and is the perfect amount. The Crabby Jimbos (High Tider) for 10 people is a feast with almost no leftovers. Everything is prepped and cooked all in one pot, many different ways. It is simple, fun, and delicious, with cracking crabs and lobsters and peeling shrimp. The only tricky part is finding it, as it is the small building behind a storefront on Gulf Shores Pkwy, but it is definitely worth finding.
