“Our experience at De Soto Seafood Kitchen was nothing short of spectacular. We indulged in the Caribbean Platter, featuring coconut shrimp, jerk chicken breast, and grilled grouper on a bed of Caribbean rice, topped with mango fruit salsa. My wife couldn't stop raving about her dish, rating it a perfect 10 out of 10. She paired it with a delightful sweet potato casserole and a refreshing bushwhacker frozen beverage. While my Creole Platter, showcasing Crawfish Étouffée and shrimp creole with blackened catfish on yellow rice, was near perfection, the Crawfish Étouffée fell slightly short due to its under-seasoned green roux. However, after a bit of improvisation with Tabasco sauce and lemon, along with mixing it with the rice and shrimp creole, the dish transformed into a flawless 10 out of 10.The attention to detail extended to the beverages, with the club soda being the best I've had on the Gulf. Served with crushed ice and fresh lime and lemon, it was a refreshing delight. The hushpuppies were divine, and the sweet potato casserole was a crowd-pleaser. But the real star of the show was the Key Lime Pie, a perfect ending to our vacation. The manager's hospitality was the cherry on top of an already delightful experience. Giving us a tour of the restaurant and presenting us with a souvenir utensil added a personal touch that made our visit truly memorable. We left De Soto Seafood Kitchen with hearts and stomachs full, eager to return for another unforgettable dining experience.“
“5/5 for atmosphere and views. 4/5 on the coffee. It's not a specialty coffee spot (there aren't any of those in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach), so the coffee itself can't hit that 5/5 rating. But that said: the coffee drinks and pastries are both very tasty and very enjoyable here.Grab a mocha and drink it while sitting in a comfortable chair watching the waves roll in and the clouds drift past. And they have Guinness and Glenlivet, so that's a win too :)“
“Delicious and great atmosphere and views. Great service by Oksana and the seafood tower did not disappoint! The scallops and pork belly is a must have. Incredibly delicious! The chocolate cake was a fantastic finish to the meal, too.Kid-friendliness: Our kiddos really enjoyed their meals, too. Kids steak and fries was tasty, they were able to modify the fettuccine into just buttered noodles, and my son shared the snapper with my husband and they both loved it.“
“Great stop for an “experience” restaurant. They have good fried oysters, and the fried green tomato fries are delicious. They boast an extensive bar menu as well with some really great options; their margaritas and bushwacker are fantastic. The blackened Mahi-mahi tacos had way more lettuce than was desirable, but the sauce was the perfect addition.“
“This was absolutely the cutest wine bar ever! You can make your own Charcuterie board and enjoy great drinks. Went for a date night and it was just perfect. The prices were very reasonable and they had some really great choices for the boards. This was a neat experience and very worth trying! The service was good the atmosphere was nice, overall,a great experience!“
“Wife and I stopped while at The Wharf to had a drink. Hostess was wonderful in helping choose a drink of wine. Decided to get the Antipasta Charcuterie Board and it was delightful! Love the atmosphere here, and prices are on par for what I expected ($8 for a glass, $22 for the board).“
“So we ended up here after Beli closed early. We have kids and it looked like more of a bar atmosphere (which i guess it is at night). But we were pleasantly surprised. The server was a polite and friendly young man. We got 2 Bavarian pretzels as appetizers and they were the bomb!!! Husband got a gouda BLT and he loved it. I got lox on baguette and it ended up being more of a lox sub, but it was huge and really good. Kids got Italian beef and cheese flat bread, Italian beef was spicier than my son anticipated, be warned! Atmosphere was a little odd as we were right by the road, but the patio was nice. All in all would go again, we thought it was great.“
