We, at one time loved Acme, but this afternoon for an appetizer we had fried crawfish tails and they were cold. I ordered friend shrimp and oyster platter and my wife had a shrimp and oyster poboy. The oysters were not as big as a “Quarter” and the shrimp on the sandwich and my platter were popcorn shrimp at best! Please get your old manager back or whatever was changed. Fried oysters were tiny with darker batter and not tasty. Fried shrimp was lightly battered and were tasty, especially with Po-Boy. Hush puppies arrived burnt looking, but tasted ok. Soft-Shelled crab was not tasty and was strangely crunchy. Also cost over $10. I will never order soft-shelled crab again. I wonder if the oil was changed out? Overall, I was very disappointed.
call ahead and made reservations to do the 15 dozen challenge.only to be charge 150$ for sodas and be gaslighted into somehow believing it was my fault they wouldn't be letting me do the challenge.wth
