The Galley on the River Reviews
This is one of my favorite spots to eat!!! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious and the vibe is amazing!!! Sitting on the back porch or in the captain’s quarters is so relaxing and a perfect spot to sip on your favorite beverage. I have to give it 10/10 ⭐️
The alligator cheesecake, the tuna nachos, the pizza, stuffed fried mushrooms , the burgers and the steak, I honestly haven’t had anything bad there. The owners Jason and Sarah along with Chef Matt have created...read full review

The Galley on the River is an awesome place with a great atmosphere, relaxed, welcoming, and perfectly coastal. Sitting by the river adds a peaceful vibe, and the views alone are worth the visit. The food is great, incredibly fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The menu has a great mix of options, and everything has been fresh, flavorful, and top-notch. Specific meals mentioned include the alligator cheesecake, tuna nachos, pizza, stuffed fried mushrooms, burgers, steak, shrimp and grits, and a patty melt which was bland and greasy, though the fries were liked. The chicken Alfredo was so garlicy the flavor of the sauce or chicken could not be tasted and was under seasoned, though a salad was good. The brunch is a standout. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. The owners and Chef Matt have created an incredible experience. However, there was confusion regarding a military discount, as one server said no discount is available.
