“This is our go to place for lunch. Great food, location, and right on the water. We grab lunch and let the kids play in the sand. Beer prices are insane at $8 a can but somewhat expected for the location. Recommend for families as they have large seating areas and small play area for them. Bring some sand toys.Parking: Can be full at prime lunch times.”

“We are here from TN where there are no Peruvian restaurants. First when you walk in it is neat and clean and spacious with a beautiful decor including Peruvian artwork. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and attentive. I wanted to introduce my friends to authentic Peruvian cuisine like my mother in law used to make. We ordered anticocho, lomo saltaldo, and yucca Frita. The food was perfection. I can not say enough about how great it was. It reminded me of my mother in law’s cooking.”

The Jonesin roll was my favorite (and the wasabi tobiko was amazing), but we also loved the Mango Tango and the Cucumber wrap Kawaii. We didn't have the sashimi, but it was so pretty I asked the people next to us if I could snap a picture! Service was fast, attentive, and cheerful. We will be back, probably later this week!”

“This is a taco truck in the parking lot of Beach Weekend pontoon rental located on hwy98 across from Captain D's.I like trying "new to me" authentic dishes. I ordered the Quesabirria tacos. Very good beef and trimmings along with the stew is amazing! I got the spicy salsa and wow! I still want to try the hot as well though just to try its flavor.Please visit this truck, you will not be disappointed! Very friendly staff, accepts cash or card. I believe this is my go to and no more than two blocks from the hacienda! I definitely tip my sombrero to the family recipe and the cook that makes it happen. Well done!!”

“My girlfriend and I decided to check out Heavenly Croissants after living here our whole life. We both got a Sausage Egg and Cheese croissant and 2 pastries. The sandwiches were absolutely amazing and the pastries were awesome. We got the blue berry cream cheese danish and a chocolate croissant. Both a 10/10. It was so good after our Sams Trip I went back to get the Triple Club & Swiss Cheese for lunch. Heavenly Croissants is definitely going to be part of our weekly Sams trip. I also bought a shirt :)”

Words do not do these tacos justice in describing the explosion of flavor in each and every bite. It's clear that the owner takes great pride and joy in his craft and he is a master at this cuisine. Ate here 3 out of the four days of my trip, and only didn't hit it 4/4 because they were closed on the last day I had to leave. I am so looking forward to my next trip to Destin/ft. “This was the first brewery I decided to check out in the area while I was out here for work. It's tucked away down a side street, but pretty convenient to get to it seemed. The woman behind the counter was extremely nice and legitimately seems to care about who patrons the place. The brewery itself was pretty cozy, going for an aviation theme, which makes sense with the Air Force base basically next door (explains the military discount they offer on Tuesdays as well). They had just opened the actual brewery equipment area in the back for guests and have corn hole back there and a few other board games to choose from. Seemed like a place for regulars to come to. Everyone at the bar seemed to know each other and the bartender. But it was also inviting to a non-local which usually isn't the case, so that was really cool of them. There's a good variety of beers to choose from with a bit of an emphasis on lighter styles/IPAs which is a-ok in my book with the heat Florida has to offer. The regular blonde was pretty standard, an easy drinker. I did sample the blood orange blonde as well, but it was very fruit forward and the small glass I had had orange residue after I finished. The blueberry Pilsner was also super fruit forward but I could appreciate them not lacking on the flavor for that one since I'm a sucker for blueberry beers. Overall cool little spot in an area without a lot of choices for breweries. It sounded like they were trying to make plans to do more with the space too, so I'd be excited to see what they come up with as time goes on.”

The AJ’s Pasta Orleans is also really delicious. The oysters are great too. Some of the food can be a miss but these are my guaranteed favorites. They have a wide variety of drinks. Service is okay, they are friendly but they are usually very busy and it’s hard for them to keep up. Overall, we enjoy coming here frequently. It’s a great little restaurant.”

They never once asked if we needed a refill (which we did) but still, they were friendly. Had we asked, I'm sure he would have been apologetic and done it. I mean, technically, they bus tables not serve food. So already, their tip is smaller than normal by default. The proprietor who was in her car ready to leave after an early morning popped her head out and asked " can I help you?" I said I knew the place was closed but was investigating for the next time. She then asked what I was looking for... a bday cake for my son for a little celebration. She the offered to open the store and show me a little pie cake she'd whipped up from left over batter that morning. A test run she said. I bought it! It was delicious and fresh. Chocolate cake, chocolate pudding and whipped cream ice cream. Perfect for what I needed. I was pleasantly surprised at her willingness to go out of her way to help me.”

I can tell you that I had the best Reuben that I have had in years! It was cooked perfectly. It was crunchy on the crusts and soft in the middle and had a great ratio of meat to cheese. The food came out fast and every mouthful was absolutely delicious. Some of the most flavorful food I've ever eaten. All the staff is super friendly too! One of the ones we'd previously gone to would be considered on the fine dining level, but Kim's food actually outshines even that restaurant by far! Kim's is our absolute favorite. My daughter and I came for lunch one day and enjoyed ourselves so much, we came back a few days later with the rest of the family and did the Korean BBQ. Our family also said that Kim's is now their favorite too. Service is fabulous and there wasn't one thing we tried that we didn't enjoy. The kimchi soup us soooo good! I especially love the bulgogi. Many places advertise cajun food then it turns out bland, that is not the case here. Its spicy but not with just heat it is an explosion of flavor in your mouth. I also bought several other items off their menu that were all fantastic... Whoever left the negative rating must not have taste buds or like having flavor in their food... I'm extremely picky about my Gumbo and will only eat it from a very few places and I will say theirs is the best and I want to eat it by the buckets. “We came in less than an hour after opening, so we were one of two tables. Our waitress was attentive and shared recommendations. I didn't have any beer, but my husband had the Antiquation. I'm not really a beer drinker, but he said it was good. Nice to have another local option for craft beer! The chicken thigh nugs were great-- fried perfectly, the right amount of dill spice in the batter, and the FL white bbq sauce was the perfect dipping sauce! The fried artichoke is so different, but we could've eaten half a dozen orders of these. The black garlic aioli is tasty, but a little goes a long way. We elected to try the Sorvan pizza-- pepperoni, Conecuh sausage, red onion, olives, mushrooms and green peppers. The focaccia bread that they use as the crust is phenomenal. The flavors were definitely there. My only complaint is that it was very heavy on the green peppers and seemed to have only a single pepperoni and sausage piece per slice. The peppers overshadowed the rest of the flavors, so I picked them off. We'll definitely go back- especially to sit outside on their covered patio on a beautiful day!”
