“Edit: 12/12/25 - Once again I am back to another review and this time it just keeps getting worse. I come here quite a bit because I like the food but the Self Service is crazy bad. Always waiting on a drink cup. You have two four people doing the Self Service and all waiting on cups.
Should never happen, workers move around but never look in the direction and if you say something it's like they are being put out or they just ignore you.
Service is down to two stars.

Edit: 10/21/25 - The self service ordering is still janky at best - as you still have to wait for a service person to get you a cup for your meal and if only one person is working the front and has other orders going on, you can stand a wait a bit
Food is still excellent so I do not mind that much

Dropping to 4 stars overall and 3 stars for service. I have been giving this self order a try since they put it in and I am not a fan.
Most the time I am standing there waiting for a drink cup because either they are too busy to give me a cup or no one is up front because of being short staffed.
Still the food is great, just that the service has went down a bit.“

I’m not exaggerating when I tell you this is the best chicken in Florida. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and the flavor is so on point. Our food was fresh and hot. We had gumbo, dark chicken, shrimp and catfish basket, cheeseburger, dirty rice, red beans & rice, and biscuits. Everything was amazing!

I’m from Louisiana. I’m very hesitant about places that claim “Louisiana food” bc they are usually not. This place is truly a representation of Louisiana. The staff is friendly and took really good care of us. We will be back!“
