“Holy Guacamole — This Place Is Nacho Average Mexican Spot! To get to the main event: the quesadilla. Oh. My. Guac. This wasn’t just the best quesadilla I’ve ever had — it was quite possibly the pinnacle of human culinary achievement. The tortilla was golden, crisped to perfection with just the right amount of buttery char. And inside? A molten lava flow of cheese so rich and gooey it could’ve been declared a national treasure. Add to that the perfectly seasoned meat (I went with the chicken, but I suspect any option would be un-burrito-ble) and a side of their homemade salsa that added just the right kick — I was completely cheesed off… in the best way possible. I was also thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail — the tortillas tasted freshly made, the toppings were thoughtfully layered, and even the slaw had crunch and flavor that made each bite nacho run-of-the-mill. Service? Absolutely en-taco-ging. Friendly, fast, and full of great recommendations! If you’re looking for a place that delivers on authenticity, flavor, and an all-around good time, this restaurant really tortilla new one! In short: • Best quesadilla ever? Check. • Amazing tacos? Check. • Left in a state of blissful food coma? Absolutely. • Would I go back? You bet your guac I would. Do yourself a favor and get your taco-loving self to this place. It’s nacho something you want to miss.”

“This is the best place in the area. I’ve driven an hour just to go here. Always look forward to going here. The food is always good and the service is also very friendly and professional. He constantly cleans the table and disinfect the door which is very comforting these days. Food is always and constantly great. Tastes the same every time I went. Also, love summer bean dessert wish it was year round if I had to complain about something. Lol. Highly highly recommend !!!!”

Tonight I had the lobster tacos for dinner with the e tuna dip for an appetizer to share, but honestly I could have just eaten my weight in hush puppies and strawberry butter. Our server Mackenzie was fantastic! Friendly, fast, and kept us well supplied. Also, she recommended a fantastic drink!”

The food was great too—everything we ordered was delicious and made the whole experience even better. Emily, the photographer, was amazing! She was so kind, knew exactly what she was doing, and worked quickly while still capturing great moments. We really appreciated how smooth and easy she made everything. “Don’t let the plain exterior fool you, this place is dope. Julianne greeted us with a smile and was an excellent host/server. They have Gluten free garlic cheesy bread as well as gluten free pizza crust that is fantastic. Had a couple of the specialty pizzas and am in heaven. Run, don’t walk to Merlins!”

“After hearing so many great things about this place, I finally made it out here to try it for myself. The atmosphere was beautiful and elegant. Brandon our server was amazing. The way Brandon described the specials and the menu items, he made it sound like it was going to be the best meal of my life. The food was spectacular so HUGE kudos to the chef. You are doing everything perfect. Atmosphere is 10 out of 10, service is a 100 out of 10 and the food was a 10 out of 10. I will definitely be back and thank you for the amazing dining experience.”

“What do I recommend? Anything!! Everything!! We had the fried grouper dinner with coleslaw and fries. The grouper was so fresh and juicy. And flaky!!! The coleslaw tasted like my mom’s! 🥰 and the hush puppies were pure perfection. We had planned to visit a place over in Destin but the prices were ridiculous!! $42 for six jumbo shrimp?! C’mon!! I honestly wasn’t expecting the quality of food for the price I paid! Great food. Great prices! I only dealt with T who took my order and was so courteous and Joey who I just had to tell about our wonderful experience. I told her we would be back before we leave and I’ve already planned my Sunday dinner! This was the Stewby’s on Racetrack Drive in Fort Walton. Highly recommend it!”

Prices are a bit high, but typical for waterfront view, but they had a good bar happy hour and a BOGO half off entrée special for early diners, which was unexpected and appreciated!”

“Had such a great experience at PB&J Bistro today! I ordered the BLT with a side salad topped with goat cheese and their citrus dressing, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. The dressing had just the right balance and really made the salad stand out. My sister got the chicken salad sandwich with fruit, and she couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. Our friend ordered the tomato grilled cheese, and it was just as impressive, food done right. Everything we tried was honestly amazing. You can tell they put a lot of care into their food. Not only is the food incredible, but the service is fantastic, too. The gal working behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming. And for your convenience, there is even a drive thru. I already can't wait to go back!”

“Went to Fish-On in Destin today and had an awesome experience. The manager and chef both came out and introduced themselves, which you don’t see much anymore. We learned they’re one of only three restaurants in Destin serving locally caught seafood that’s truly fresh — never frozen — and you can taste the difference. The chef has been on Hell’s Kitchen twice, and you can tell he takes real pride in what he puts on the plate. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the prices were surprisingly fair for the quality you’re getting. If you’re in Destin and want something legit, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.”
