“You will surprised what a wide selection of food options that a military mess hall has. Best of all, it is open to civilians working on base. Great food at unbeatable prices.”
“I know that Starbucks always has a turnover of employees ? but they still try to maintain excellent quality, service, and customer service. We see a new face ? each time we visit. But way to go, Starbucks. Keep up the good work ?Parking: The parking lot is to congested most of the time ⏲️. Cars are coming in and are trying to get out.”
“Dfac never again!! As of January 27, 2020 (rules may change) this place accepts Airman who are in dorms on meal card. Food is super good, like the SAC if you were ever stationed at Fort Sam. Chicken tenders? Slap. Chicken ceasar salad? Slaps. Sicilian sandwich? Slaps. Catfish sandwich? Trash. Mozzarella sticks? Pretty OK. Guacamole burger? SLAPS. You can also cal your order ahead and it'll be ready by the time you get there. 10/10”
“Super small, but so fast. Claimed my bag within 3 mins of getting off the plane. They are all very organized and kind. Ugh I don't remember the guys name who was organizing the baggage claim, but he was providing great entertainment with the microphone while keeping it in line! Not many places to eat but VPS isn't a layover destination so you don't really need to worry bc you can eat before and after!”
“This is the perfect place to grab a quick bite and fuel up after long days out adventuring in the everglades! Advertised as "not for the weak or fainthearted", this local dive is a sight for sore eyes for any who have been playing in the swamps, or visiting friends on Santa Rosa Island.Meal selection is limited and primarily military inspired in nature. Alcohol is not served to anyone who appears unhealthy or emaciated.Other amenities include archaic washing stations, laundry units, places to feel sad, and inspirational comments from the employees like "go".Seating is limited.Lots of indigenous history to persue. Brush up on your knowledge of the Gator Lounge by perusing the war-time decor adoring the walls, did you know it once burned down??Overall... I would probably not willingly return to Gator Lounge for any reason, although I have heard some people opt to cycle back through. Truly an experience you will never forget”
“I'm a regular hereThe food is absolutely delicious, and dont even get me started on the fantastic service.but they they're sweating SUPER bad back there- GIVE THEM Air Conditioning.. being over a stove for hours with no A/C is crazy!”
“We went through the drive-thru and the gentleman that helped me, was so kind. He was so friendly, and making sure he got my order correct. I enjoyed the customer service he put out there. He is friendly, nice, and very thorough.Although, my burger was wrong at least my kids food were right. LOL !”
“This store only need required help...it's too much for one person to handle. This is a pretty busy airport, the reps are exceptional especially Renae. Very helpful, multitasking and professional!”
“I had their chicken sandwich. I must say it is pretty good compared to other chicken sandwich. It is basically a ch8cken breast with their breading. It is great with the blackened ranch sauce.”
“Very clean with a polite and friendly staff.Note: The address is wrong. Says Duke FLD but actually 7SFG which is 5 miles away. Also this location has limited hours compared to most Subway.”
“This place is good, good portions, and for the sheer amount of orders they handle, very efficient.I don’t know what people expect when they leave such poor reviews. As one of the only lunch spots on this side of base it gets super busy, so yes, the wait is long, but for the amount of orders they’re taking it’s reasonable. The food is good. They only have one oven, so you can expect things to take a while when everybody gets their sandwich toasted. Especially when one person starts ordering for a whole office. As for the comments about rudeness, I haven’t experienced that at all. They don’t have time for chitchat, so they tend to be straight to the point. If you don’t know what you want before ordering, that’s on you.Yes, you’ll wait, but that’s not their fault. Build in extra time and there’s no problems here.”
“Okay. *cracks knuckles* Oh sweet Stewby’s. Y’all. We went for lunch and there was a line when we walked in, but it was soooo worth a short 20-min wait from walking in to getting our food. The gentleman who took our order was a southern sweetheart, and the food was just the best. My husband and I are super into casual atmospheres and good cookin’ and this place FITS. THE. BILL. Just stop reading my review and go. Savor every bite.If you want to keep reading this as you make your way over, first off, know that the sweet teas are huge and perfectly brewed, and we got free refills as we walked out. Practically a gallon of tea between the four cups total we got to enjoy. I heartily devoured the fried shrimp dinner with baked beans and coleslaw (I’m particular about my slaw and this was great slaw) The shrimp is tender and cooked to perfection. The batter on the shrimp is simply the best—not too much, not too little, stays on the shrimp, and super tasty. The baked beans were sweet, unique, and truly delightful. My husband ordered the fried fish of the day (Mahi Mahi) with collard greens (to die for) and cheese grits (very yummy). Don’t get me started on the hushpuppies, which were so flavorful and not your standard dry hushpuppies but instead succulent and divine. We basically skipped out of the restaurant. It not only filled our tummies but also our souls. We usually only say grace and thank the Lord before every meal but we thanked the Lord before, during, AND after this one.PS: Stewby’s, we are willing to be unpaid actors for your commercials. Just give us a meal and we will scream your name from the rooftops. God bless y’all for creating such a fabulous restaurant to brighten the lives of the working class.”
“I was was pleasantly served by Viktoriia and I dont think she will get enough credit with my review. She made the experience wonderful, the food was amazing! We ordered and boom the food arrived. Little to no wait and i can barely walk out im so full well worth it.”
“High-end Korean steakhouse worthy of Seoul's super exclusive Itaewon District.Vegetarian options: Knowledgeable wait staff will point out vegetarian options, or vegetarian modifications that can be done to some dishes.”
“The BBQ Smoked Chicken pizza and cheese bread sticks were very delicious. The young lady working the counter on April 11, 2024 around 5pm was exceptionally nice and assured us we would love the pizza...she was correct! You know the food is great when the staff enjoy it and recommend it.”
“We thoroughly enjoyed the lunch buffet! There was a variety of flavorful vegetarian choices, as well as chicken and goat. I tried to sample everything and every bite was delicious! I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options to choose from. I can't remember the names of all of the dishes, but there is a whole section of the buffet that is meatless.”
“We had a wonderful lunch today! Joey, our server, was outstanding and knowledgeable about the menu options—ensuring my wife had a delicious GF meal. The manager came by as well to check and we were impressed by everyone who supported our GF needs.”
“This place is my FAVORITE place to eat here in the local area. So amazing! It’s a must try. And the workers here are so nice and helpful. I will always be a returning customer here!”
“Food is absolutely amazing. And the best waitresses, especially Ashley. Ask for Ashley and you will have an amazing experience she's sweet and will take time with you for questions or comments!! She is absolutely amazing!! Will be back to see her when in town”
“Just had a wonderful experience at Bitterroot, will definitely be returning. The service was incredible, and the food was absolutely delicious-- everyone in my party loved their food, desserts included. Even the kids pizza was delicious. The cocktails were also divine. This is a wonderful place for Sunday brunch or date night. Very calming ambience.Parking: Large parking lot, plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu includes cheese pizza, chicken tenders or a burger. The french fries are delicious!”
“They're always so friendly and their food is made fresh with care. Absolutely try them. I love the rice bowls for lunch. So filling! And you have to try the spicy sauce!”
“We visited PB&J during our vacation trip to Destin. The food was amazing, felt very upscale compared to what we paid. Everyone, including all of our kids, devoured the food. The sweet potato fries were some.of the best I've ever had. The staff was friendly and patient with our big family. We have 6 kids and they took their time making sure everyone got what they needed and even offered books for them from their cute lending library!!! What a treat. We will definitely be going back next time we are in town.Dietary restrictions: We do have a child with a gluten sensitivity and they were more than happy to accommodate”
“The bene we got was pretty good. The side potatoes needed seasoning. But the service... top notch. Jillian was so friendly and we never had to ask for anything. Would eat here again and try something new!!!”
“The crab legs were great! The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and our bartender, Nicole, provided A++ service! Our dog had a great time, too. We’ll be back.”
“Oh my goodness this is absolutely the best breakfast food my husband and I have ever eaten. He got a platter with a side of biscuits and gravy. The gravy is not a typical, American style gravy, it is unbelievable!!! I ordered the French Toast and the flavor is unlike anything you will ever try! I cannot put into words how delicious the food is!!”
“Great, affordable seafood. I know seafood, and this place has fresh food that is well seasoned. Even my 11 year old learned to love shrimp, and we went back a 2nd time. Great service both times, the servers are friendly and do a great job. The shrimp was all fresh, seasoned well and tasted great. We had fried, boiled peel n eat, Caribbean grilled skewer, boom boom and popcorn shrimp. All great. The boom boom shrimp tacos were so good. The crab cakes were decent, not the best but still good. Affordable too. Avoid the tourist traps and go here.”
“We are here from TN where there are no Peruvian restaurants. First when you walk in it is neat and clean and spacious with a beautiful decor including Peruvian artwork. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and attentive. I wanted to introduce my friends to authentic Peruvian cuisine like my mother in law used to make. We ordered anticocho, lomo saltaldo, and yucca Frita. The food was perfection. I can not say enough about how great it was. It reminded me of my mother in law’s cooking.”
“I have been several times and love it every single time.Chicken sandwich- outstandingBreakfast bowl- outstandingBanana toast- outstandingYou get my point. If in the area definitely stop by”
“Their ice cream is really good, most popcorn is too I just had one with cheddar cheese and jalapeno that was very weird tasting like powder cheese, the caramel popcorn is way better.”
