My waitress Serena was the very best as was the hostess. We arrived an hour before they closed and they both made us feel at home and very welcome, not like we were putting them out. 😊 Even the people who came in after us were treated just the same. The food was wonderful too. I'm from Mobile,Alabama. And this was my second time here and I loved it both times. I have local David's Catfish near me but I prefer this one... We had a truly memorable visit to David's Catfish House to celebrate our Aunt's 90th Birthday. The service was outstanding—every staff member was attentive and made us feel incredibly welcome. The kitchen was absolutely on point, delivering delicious dishes that delighted everyone at our table.

The food is good and consistent. The service is always good. The gumbo is really good and has okra like a good gumbo should. The cheese grits are good and the fried food is always top notch. Why are we serving shrimp that isn't deveined in 2024. Don't get the shrimp & grits.
