Bought a chocolate layer cake from a store that they sell their products at and was highly disappointed. It is like cornbread. I spent $22.98 and it's in the trash. I have emailed the cake company to inform them of this because if it was my product, I would want to know. It expires 4/1. Either it was not cooked correctly or, bc the store refrigerates it, it is causing it to dry out. I'm so disappointed.

Disappointed. Bought whole chocolate cake. It’s not old or stale. But it is very spongy. The texture is not moist. Maybe ice cream can improve. Otherwise we will let the kids next door eat it.

I’ve bought a German Chocolate Cake from a grocery store in Enterprise and it was just a chocolate birthday cake with coconut pecan frosting. Just purchased a Red Velvet and it’s just a vanilla birthday cake with red food coloring and the frosting taste artificial!!! If I want a birthday cake that’s what I’ll buy. 20 dollars for a birthday cake that looks like a speciality cake! I will never purchase another “speciality cake “ or any cake from this place again.

Known for the 7 layer cake - it's quite impressive however crunchy overly sweet icing is just not good at all. I like sweet things but this is over the top sweet - hurts your teeth.

Rude customer service and not very helpful in ordering cakes. Also, the cakes are all frozen, not fresh. Be aware of buying a last minute cake so you’ll have time to thaw it out…

We stopped here on our way back from FL and I was a little disappointed. The individual slices of cake were frozen in clear plastic containers. We bought 3 different kinds, Red Velvet, 7 Layer Chocolate and Italian Cream. They were all OK, but not all that moist. Being an amateur baker myself, I think that freezing the slices in a container (not wrapped) likely drove some of the moisture out of the cake and possibly the whole, unfrozen cakes might be better, but not sure I will go back to find out.

Had read about these cakes for the last few years. Southern Living even had an article on them. Bought the Lemon Cheese Cake frozen. It was a disappointment: the cake was dry and without much flavor. The frosting had little real lemon flavor and was gummy. Some lemon zest and fresh lemon juice would have helped.I won't bother with this brand again.
