Hilltop hosted the Red Level School Faculty/Staff Christmas gathering. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff greeted us with smiles and treated us like family the moment we arrived. We was never rushed and our waitress was able to make recommendations. Thank you Hilltop! We will definitely be back ❤️

A really good meat market / worth the stop to take home meats if traveling interstate 65 ! Didn’t eat in the restaurant ; but we did eat at Hooks BBQ in Andalusia and good was great !

Use to leave right behind there in the trailer park. Would eat there at least once a week. Great food! Burgers, fish, or steaks. And the prices are very reasonable. Me and the wife are going there again tonite.

Mediocre food in a run down diner. Prices for what you get are much higher than average. Don't waste your time.

Overpriced mediocre food. A couple of eggs, meat, grits, toast, $13. Omelets $13.00. Atmosphere of an old diner. Never again.

We were afraid stay and eat the food. This Place is disgustingly nasty! Everything, AND I mean EVERYTHING was sticky. To start with, as the waitress approached our boot she dropped the menu on the floor, picked it up and then placed it on the table. We ordered a couple of bottle beers, they arrived and were luke warm at best! For our appetizer we ordered a dozen raw oysters, though cold, very nice size, and very good, we were served them on a middle school lunch tray with no condiments, ie, no bed of ice, lemon, horse radish or cocktail sauce! Nothing! Not even a fork to to pick them up with! However, there was a sleeve of crackers on the table. For our Entrees, I ordered a Shrimp Po Boy. When it arrived, It was literally two pieces of Texas toast, lightly toasted with 7 or 8 fried shrimp ( WITH THE TAIL ON) on top of the bread! Nothing else! No lettuce, no tomato ,no condiments, no nothing? Dining partner ordered a Rib Eye sandwich. It came with the same two pieces of lightly toasted Texas toast with nothing else. Steak was cooked well done and ..... I don't know? Eatable! At least the fries we both had were hot when they arrived. Sorry, but a very poor experience! Im afraid this was my first and last visit!

This is not a good restaurant. It is dirty and the food is terrible. The food I got tasted like it had just been microwaved and got cold quickly. The sauce for cowboy shrimp was horseradish. The atmosphere is unwelcoming and everything feels like an afterthought. It is VERY OVERPRICED!!!! I can not stress this enough! OVERPRICED!

This is full of great food and great people. I got sausage bites and the Thursday night ribeye special with a sweet tea. They have barrel racing for you and the family.

Planned a trip here after seeing friends post about it on Facebook. We would make the trip again, for sure! There was barrel racing in the field when we pulled up and a line waiting to be seated at the restaurant. Nothing fancy but it was obvious this is a fave among the locals. There were quite a bit of families waiting. We ordered the Ribeye Specials. Everything was cooked perfectly. Definitely try the sausage! We were sold when the tray came to the table with a side of syrup.

Food was good but the place was disgustingly filthy... the walls had food on them, the table had sauce stuck to it so bad even the waitress said this is nasty as she scrubbed it ( because I asked her to) , opened bags of crackers on the tables...the ceiling was horrible, the bathroom was awful as well... the service was horrible... for asking so much for a steak and offering good seafood you think they could clean up a little.... The locals told me this is the place and people were waiting outside when we left but I'm not sure why.... Never again and I have wanted to go here for a while but that ruined it for me. Just being honest.... One of the locals said "well you don't come here for the cleanliness but at least they don't cook on the tables" and laughed about it ....They need to shut down and clean up for a week....

Encouraged by Brenda Gantt’s field trip to Hilltop, we tried it out on our stopover in Andalusia tonight. Our server, Brandon, made us feel so welcome and provided great service! He made wonderful recommendations. The deep-fried, house-made sausage (w/syrup dipping sauce) was yummy and the blooming onion was the best we’ve had. My husband ordered surf-and-turf, which included perfectly cooked shrimp and a rib-eye that was average. (The flavor was fine, it was just a little gristly.). Oh, and the tea was very good! The servings were very generous; we left with a very full to-go box. Overall it was a very good experience and we’re already planning to stop here again on the way to the beach next year.
