Good food, great service and nice atmosphere along with descent prices. One of my local favorites.

We have eaten here 5 times;3 during the week and 2 on the weekend. Service during the week isn’t good at all. Each time it seems to get a little worse. Wait staff doesn’t come back to table to check on us. Tonight the cook didn’t even prepare our food correctly. The food is really good though. We like it better than any other Mexican. Hopefully, they will get it together soon.

First off its beautiful and vibrant on the inside. I have been here a total of two times. The first time was right after they opened and the last time was during the last week of October. The first time I went it was a different. In a good way. Their menu was different from every other restaurant in the area and they had stuff on it I never seen on a menu. I.e. elite corn dip.

I was telling my friend who was in town how different it was and to my surprise, apparently the menu changed to look like every other menu in the area. No different than the standard menu you see everywhere. I thought a gem came to the oxford/anniston area but I was wrong :(

Great food, drinks & atmosphere! New lunch menu has been great for us that work close to them. Owners are so nice, we love this place! Highly recommended!

We have eaten here 4 times now, and have enjoyed every meal. The food is fresh and tasty, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing and fun. The menu offers a good variety, including several seafood dishes such as bacon-wrapped shrimp and seafood molcajetes, which are not typically found at restaurants in the area. I especially appreciate the selection of gluten-free dishes. Restrooms are clean and well-maintained, as well. I highly recommend giving Cancun Cantina a try!

Have been wanting to try them since they opened, I was not disappointed! Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back to try more good food!

Very cool new restaurant. Descent food. Except for the platonos frito desert, that was not good. It's not sweet at all unless you ask for triple times triple condensed milk or chocolate on it. Just get the churros, I didn't, but im sure they are 1000 times better than what I got.

This has become our go to resturant to go. Food is good staff very friend.

The food is okay. I'd hardly call the meat a serving that's inside the tacos. Probably 1/4 a cup in each. There's no cheese inside, so it's just tortilla & meat. The sauce was alright, too, but they hardly give enough to add flavor to the taco.
The beans & rice are really good, sauces as well.
The margarita sizes felt off... I ordered a small & my husband a large, which seems like a medium compared to other local MX restaurants.

If you're looking for a family place, more bang for your buck, then I'd recommend visiting a different spot.
The one thing I feel sets it apart from other restaurants in the area is definitely the vibe. I'll give them that. It's like stepping into a high end restaurant, I guess that's why the serving & prices cater towards a different demographic 😅

Taste better than the food truck tacos. Very clean 👌 and professional service. Will be back for more good and tasty food 😋.
