Had the best chicken gizzards IN MY LIFE! Also green fried tomatoes. The gizzards were so tender. I didn't want to leave. If I were retired I'd be hanging out at this place all the time volunteering in some way. Tony the owner and all the staff are so kind, make you feel like family.”

Please please Dee we need you to come back and open another place ! You were the greatest ! I remember Dee came to Ruthy T's when I was playing music there. I sure miss all of the great times we had and the great music at the Playhouse !!!”

“My mom and I are visiting Anniston and we are so glad we checked this place out. Our server Cindy was amazing. She was very kind, helpful and you can tell she really cares about her customers. We looooved the garlic and olive oil with the bread that was brought for a starter. If you like garlic it's magical. Both of our meals were delicious. I got the mushroom ravioli with Alfredo sauce and my mom loved her pasta. We both had a delicious glass of wine. We definitely recommend this place.”

The people are super friendly, especially Ally in the after noon and the blonde headed girl in the morning! They is so sweet & my kids adore them! They really ALL have top notch customer service. I saw people being brought food! Establishment should train their servers to interact with the customers and sell their products. This will help PURE and also the servers for huge tips! $$$$$ ? Praises to the Security Guard! Great on security, but also he made me feel welcome, being I was an out of town guest visiting for the first time. A+ ????

“I went through the drive thru at Betty's Bar-B-Q. I can not say enough about the women at the drive trhu. They were friendly, kind and happy. I ordered the Sampler Plater which has catfish, chicken tender and BBQ pork. I also ordered their chicken and dressing & for sides turnip greens and fried green tomatoes. The portions were huge. The food was very good. The only reason I can't give it 5 is that for me it was too salty. I try and limit my salt intake. I highly recommend this place.”

“My recommendation, DO NOT GO!!! I took my husband there on July 18, 2021, for his birthday. We had gone there once before and the food was pretty decent. On this occasion, we had a shrimp basket and fish basket with fried okra and onion rings. The wait time was ridiculous considering there was not many full tables there. However, there was a large gathering for a birthday party that seemed to be taking up all of the attention from the meager staff on hand. Our meal came to about $40, I had also had a "top shelf margarita" which did not taste like top shelf liquor. About 3 hours later, I was in the emergency room with severe food poisoning. It was one of the worse experiences in my life and I felt that I was never going to stop vomiting. We will never be back. I wasted $40 on a meal that cost me $300 more to go to the emergency room.”

“The staff of Golden Springs Jack's deserves recognition. We went today Sunday, July 28th and they were swamped. Drive thru backed up, tons of people inside and the staff were courteous, friendly and respectful. I never see that anymore. Kudos for all of you who work such a thankless job with rude customers a lot of times. I appreciate you!!!”
