“Wow, this is a hidden local gem! In town for a conference and wanted some wings, MVPs had the highest rating around and I learned why. I seen the pics of lemon pepper wings and okra, I asked the lady serving me if they were the best. She suggested their most popular wing (I believe she said Da Most, I don't always hear well) and I took them paired with okra. Man, everything was crisp, I don't know what went on the fried okra but it is to die for! And the wings were amazing, the flavor profile was unique and delicious! Definitely worth the stop!“
“Great bar for service industry ppl. I showed up at 2a and it was covered in the glorious staff that takes care of the normal public. Easy going, bartender for bartenders behind the scene just shoveling drinks. It seems sketch walking in but it’s very clean and open! Great spot to end a night.“
“When you are close to one of the oldest bars in Alabama you are obliged to stop in for a pint. What they lack in beer selection (don't get me wrong they had a beer for every taste on tap from sours to stouts) the make up for in atmosphere! Be sure to tour the whole building.“
“All my buddies went home and left me hanging out in a strange town on a Friday night.... I told them I was going to this club Pure cuz it's open till 330am... They laughed and said I probably shouldn't cuz it's a black folks club... Like I care... I did go and had a blast... Everyone was so damn cool... Made me feel like I was welcome there. And waffle House right across the street too! Great live music and the patio is amazing. $20 cover more than fair.... If I ever go out in Anniston or Oxford again I probably will end up there again.“
“I HAVE YET TO GO! But I have a WONDERFUL lady by the name Melanie with whom I frequently am granted the pleasure in seeing. If her personality and kindness are a reflection of this establishment, I AM VERY EXCITED TO GO! Will hopefully be a guest in the near future!“
