“Unique place to stop by, interesting stuff inside, Emil recently passed away & I stopped by to give my condolences & to help Jim with some technical issues he was having with U-Haul software. I missed Emil & the cafe after the original kitchen staff & waitresses retired. They were unable to find good help that followed Emil's recipes & the waitresses that served the customers. They still have the storage facilities & 24/7 U-Haul dealership.“
“First chicken gizzards are hard to find but good gizzards are even harder to find. This place has some of the most tender gizzards I have ever had. Their fried green tomatoes were perfect Southern made. Can't beat the price to quantity food ratio. Great place to eat.“
“Wonderful find as I was making my way from Birmingham to Atlanta. Anniston is a sweet small town just North of I-20. True Southern hospitality at work here. Wonderful historic building downtown. I had one of the many daily specials, chicken, greens, Mac&cheese, black eyed peas and cornbread. All prepared with love, like Grandma was in the kitchen.“
“McKenzie is a great server. She had our food on the table before I could finish my first cup of hot tea. Michael cooked everything perfectly. There weren't any leftovers to feed our son Hoover he's on a seefood diet, everything he sees he eats.“
“We rode down to have brunch on Easter from Newnan GA. It was a great day for a motorcycle ride. What a pleasant surprise. The food was outstanding and the service as well. We sat at the bar and Sterling took care of us. He is a true jewel. We will absolutely put this on our list of great ride motorcycle ride destinations. Highly recommend!!“
“Quisha was our waitress and she was so sweet and helpful! When we finished she brought our son an ice cream sandwich.. She didn’t know that he had been sick this week and tonight was a treat for getting out of quarantine and to try and get him to eat a little.. It was the best night because of Quisha ? “
“This is always our go-to for a fine meal and is probably the best place in the area for a menu that always has something wonderful and unexpected. This past week, four of us (two couples) went for a mid-week dinner. In addition to the regular winter menu, which includes fish/seafood, poultry, beef and vegetarian entrees, the specials included grilledvenison and braised rabbit. I got the venison, and a friend got the rabbit. Both were excellent and had us both so happy to come by and enjoy this variety. So good! As in, so good I’ll be back fairly soon before these dishes rotate off the menu.Food here is always excellent. Always a wonderful evening for a special occasion or just a good night out with friends. Wine selection is best in the area, and it includes access to their wine shop if you want something particular. You can also bring your own wine or champagne (which we’ve done) for a small corkage fee.Dress: Most folks are in office-casual clothing, but special occasion attire would be equally set in this atmosphere. This is not a place to take children.Vegetarian options: Pasta, whole grains, salads.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options. Staff very familiar within the menu and can answer questions.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps at all. All one level.“
“Anniston Alabama is home to some amazing mountain bike trails, what's better than an amazing burrito ? at the end of a super long ride when you are craving some delicious food? Look no further than El Agave for the best near Coldwater Mountain.Vegetarian options: I always get the California veggie burrito“
“Waffle house is always such a wild experience. I never go in there sober but somehow the service is always great. Last time I went which is a couple days ago there was only two people in their bless their hearts and a consistent fire going on the stove. Regardless the food is great service is great I had a great time entertainment was great.“
“The waffles, IMMACULATE; The staff, IMPECCABLE; I WAS JUST A BLIND MAN NOW I SEE, these waffles contain esoteric knowledge that really had me on my knees praying to three gods. I saw the spectral plain.Wheelchair accessibility: I was crippled w plessure“
“I've been here a few times with a large group of coworkers. The food is always great, as is the service. And those appetizers! The southwestern egg rolls and the corn nuggets are two favorites of our group. If you haven't tried them, I highly recommend that you do.“
“5 stars on the Cooks , Connie and Barbara. Connie is the very best!!! We would stop going if she's not there, but keep that sourness Dallas in the back, in the years we ve been going, that woman never smiles. Front folks are the best, manager....:(“
“A waffle house like ours comes along once in a lifetime. You can trust them to be consistent. Service is always prompt and friendly. And the food is great American diner food. They don’t get five stars because they’re just not a 5 Star Place! Folks this is not fine dining. It is hardy and filling and it’s on every corner. The best corner we found is US 431 @ Hwy 144 in Alexandria.“
“We have been to this location 2 times and both times we sat at the bar. There is this AMAZING bartender named Matt.. he took great care of us the first time we visited and remembered us the second time around! He was just as amazing tonight on our second visit! I actually requested and was able to speak with the manager David! I let him know that Matt was amazing.. our steak was cooked SO perfect and all the food was delicious both times we’ve visited! Thank yall for an awesome experience and we will DEFINITELY be back! ❤️“
“Great food!!Nice and not really crowded!we beat the dinner crowd!great service, food was delicious!!No cooking for me when I get home,we had a busy day and I was in no mood to cook!!They get 5 stars from me!!!Love CRACKER BARREL.Food is getting pricey but it's the same at the grocery store and I have to cook it!!“
“Wow, this is a hidden local gem! In town for a conference and wanted some wings, MVPs had the highest rating around and I learned why. I seen the pics of lemon pepper wings and okra, I asked the lady serving me if they were the best. She suggested their most popular wing (I believe she said Da Most, I don't always hear well) and I took them paired with okra. Man, everything was crisp, I don't know what went on the fried okra but it is to die for! And the wings were amazing, the flavor profile was unique and delicious! Definitely worth the stop!“
