“Our server the pretty black lady is the best server/cook ever this morning my husband and I had a big fight anyway I took the kids to waffle houses and our server was amazing she saved my life literally she sweet and outspoken and amazing personality she made the kids Mickey Mouse waffles and they were very happy she also cook my food as well she needs to be a manager or team leader her work ethic is amazing thank you for the hospitality to our chocolate drop“
“I have only been to one other Jefferson's location (Rockmart, GA) and this one seems to be quite a bit older and smaller. They were clearly short-staffed, turning down multiple phone orders for takeout food. They were busy but the staff remained helpful and attentive despite the lack of help. The food was kind of standard bar fare. The fried shrimp had a taste of old grease and the hush puppies were over cooked, but still edible. Mac & cheese was unremarkable. Doubt if I will return for a second meal unfortunately.“
“I don't even know where to begin!I've only eaten here twice, and both times I was blown away! The food was absolutely incredible, the best wings and fries I've ever eaten in my entire life! Ignore these nitpicking one star reviews because they cannot be farther from the truth!The wings were huge, they were juicy, tender, and very flavorful! The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned! The wait was a little long but I didn't care! The service was phenomenal as the person who took my order was friendly. After getting my wings I walked back to my dorm at JSU and my food was still hot and crispy and very tasty!!I would highly recommend you give this place a try and please ignore these one-star reviews!“

With that said, let’s talk about service!Known for its service standards, Captain D’s is an establishment that sets a high standard for customer service and employee to consumer satisfaction. Today, I had the opportunity to experience Laquisha and I am convinced that she wrote the book on how to deliver AMAZING Customer Service. Laquisha welcomed us into Captain D’s with an amazing smile, vibrant personality, and organic cheer. As I walked into the establishment she maintained her amazingness throughout taking my order. When my sister began to place her order, Laquisha still displayed customer service awesomeness even during a serious rush. I’m talking about stellar service from an amazing individual. Thank you, Laquisha!!!As we decided to dine-in Laquisha ended up bringing our food to the table and guess what… she was still Awesomeeeeeeeeee. She delivered our food with a smile and thanked us again for coming into Captain D’s!To continue the amazing experience, my food was fresh. Not just regular fresh, but fresh fresh. “First chicken gizzards are hard to find but good gizzards are even harder to find. This place has some of the most tender gizzards I have ever had. Their fried green tomatoes were perfect Southern made. Can't beat the price to quantity food ratio. Great place to eat.“

“This place has great tasting food and a variety to choose from. It's a BBQ place, and I was hungry for Brunswick stew. This was the only place I could find it, and it was delicious! This place stays crowded, but when we got there, luckily, we got the last seat available. It was upstairs, but we took it. The steps are steep and narrow, but we made it. I can't wait to go back! Good food, friendly waiter.“
