“I have only been to one other Jefferson's location (Rockmart, GA) and this one seems to be quite a bit older and smaller. They were clearly short-staffed, turning down multiple phone orders for takeout food. They were busy but the staff remained helpful and attentive despite the lack of help. The food was kind of standard bar fare. The fried shrimp had a taste of old grease and the hush puppies were over cooked, but still edible. Mac & cheese was unremarkable. Doubt if I will return for a second meal unfortunately.“
“I drove from Georgia and have been in town for days, I decided to stop here as I’ve stopped at other locations and didn’t receive satisfactory service.I usually don’t do reviews on Fast Food locations as the expectations are usually minimal. However, after my experience at this location I had to leave a review. With that said, let’s talk about service!Known for its service standards, Captain D’s is an establishment that sets a high standard for customer service and employee to consumer satisfaction. Today, I had the opportunity to experience Laquisha and I am convinced that she wrote the book on how to deliver AMAZING Customer Service. Laquisha welcomed us into Captain D’s with an amazing smile, vibrant personality, and organic cheer. As I walked into the establishment she maintained her amazingness throughout taking my order. When my sister began to place her order, Laquisha still displayed customer service awesomeness even during a serious rush. I’m talking about stellar service from an amazing individual. Thank you, Laquisha!!!As we decided to dine-in Laquisha ended up bringing our food to the table and guess what… she was still Awesomeeeeeeeeee. She delivered our food with a smile and thanked us again for coming into Captain D’s!To continue the amazing experience, my food was fresh. Not just regular fresh, but fresh fresh. My Butterfly shrimp tasted fresh annd crisp and were perfectly seasoned and fried. Though Captain D’s food is always good, this was a different kind of good. LoL! satisfactory service…Great Service. Fresh hush puppies , Fresh fries and tartar sauce! What better way to spend your Friday???!!!!The location is spotless. The ambiance is vibrant and the staff at the registers are efficient and conscious of one’s time… To whomever hired them, you deserve a Gold Star. “The atmosphere is always excellent. The food never disappoints. I'm sorry to say the service was unsatisfactory. The server didn't come take my drink order, and another server noticed I had been sitting for an extended period of time, so she came and took my drink order and brought out starters. My server was all over the place and not attentive. My drink sat empty for long periods of time. Despite the subpar service, I still tipped.“
“A great traditional steakhouse. The steak always has a great flavor, and the service is always prompt and friendly. My one small complaint is that the steaks always seem a little undercooked. It's not a deal breaker, though. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
