“My husband and I had a late lunch here, he got the steak sandwich and I had the Ahi Tuna Wontons as my meal - and we shared an order of cheese sticks and a slice of key lime pie. Everything was delish, service was great and a very fair price. I only got a picture of the tuna wontons, but they were amazing!!“
“Very friendly staff. Good food choices. Have raw oysters which is not the easiest to find. Good beer and liquor selection. Good place to have a nice sit down meal, a casual sit down meam, or simply hangout and drink while watching a sports game. Will definitely return.“
“Great place to eat, prime rib and ribeye are very good as well as the sides. We happened upon JD’s after the place we were originally going was packed. The server was a little slow checking on our drinks and such but otherwise the experience was great.“
“Pass by this place a lot in Guntersville and thought I'd bring my wife here for a date. Super friendly staff, was seated right away even though it was a busy Friday night. I got the crawfish/shrimp boil combo with a cup of gumbo and everything was delicious! The only slight gripe I had was a few of the crawfish were a bit rubbery in texture, still tasted great though. I would go here just to see the staff, our waiter and every staff we had come by our table were extremely nice. Definitely stopping by here more!“
“You get two meals. First, they bring slaw, turnip greens, onions and a pan of cornbread. Best turnip greens and cornbread I've had. Heck, that was all the food I needed. Then they brought the next meal. I had a platter of catfish n shrimp. It was all good. But I'd go back just for the first meal. Yum. Yum.“
“18:36 Monday June 19th 2023 I sent My Mom to pick up supper I paid for the seafood feast they forgot my Green beans I tried calling the store 4 times my mom tried calling about 5 no one answered i love their food however this is the 5th time they've forgotten to give me my entire order usually it's my hush puppies last time it was a piece of fish they're nice and understanding but need to work on making sure everything is accounted for in the order“
“We have been looking for good fried catfish and this place was a wonderful surprise. Everything we ordered was awesome: fried dill pickles, fried catfish, shrimp, oysters, crawfish, hushpuppies and slaw. The red beans and rice were also the best we have ever had. So glad we found Papa Dubi’“
“The fiesta dip on the appetizers menu is amazing.Pictured is the cheesy Fiesta fajitas. Which also was amazing.Decore inside is far better than the outside of the restaurant. Staff are friendly and super efficient.The free salsa tastes like spicy marinara. Did not like that.“

You reflect the front lines of this owners, establishment. ?1st time customers, and we ordered the Rockin Hearty Meals To Go weeks ago.I was going to pay with debit card until another review said to pay cash to avoid a 4% fee.The rice tastes like the "Ben's Orginal Ready Rice" Long Grain and Wild Rice you microwave for 90 minutes.For $42, you get 4 portions (Entree was correct for 4 servings) with rice, 4 delicious shrimp wraps, and 4 chocolate chip cookies. We had to microwave the cookies so we could bite down on them.The meat was tender. The vegetables/rice was alright.If you don't want to cook or don't have time, I encourage the To Go Meals on occasion. Make a salad at home to accompany the meal.We did have enough entree for lunch at work the next day.We will try it again.Thank you! ?“
