Today is April 21st 2022 me my mother and my husband came to eat there every was so good ? my mother had the Cobb salad my husband had the shrimp basket and I had catfish dinner freash made really hot are waitris lady was so sweet I did not get her name but she stayed on top of things and made sure we had everything we needed when needed it, we eat there there once a month and would take every body I no there if I could I love this place and great food every one needs to try everything...read full review

Where do I begin..the oysters were big and tasty! Fried green tomatoes are a must..the sauce for them sooo good! Fried green beans delicious and crispy. Dinner was quiet because all 4 of us couldn't stop eating!

Wintzell’s Oyster House is an amazing place with absolutely delicious food. The Blackberry BBQ Pork Chop is one of the best meals, with a tender, juicy pork chop and a perfect sweet and savory sauce. The red fish Bienville is spectacular. Other great options include salmon and rice, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, grouper nuggets, and raw oysters. The happy hour appetizers are awesome and save money. The fried green tomatoes with crawfish sauce are out of this world. The service is always good, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant is a really cool place with many signs to read. It never disappoints and is definitely one of the favorite seafood places in North Alabama.
