“Look, DO NOT go by the reviews, take a trip and find out for yourself. After reading the reviews, I didn't even want to go, but I was looking for catfish yesterday and didn't want to cook. I walked in thinking I was going to need a mask for the smell(from reviews), the place DOES NOT smell bad at all. There was 2 men working, one younger than the other and both were kind and patient, because I asked a lot of questions trying to make a combo with everything I wanted and saw, lol(they have plenty of options). The food is priced very reasonable, fresh, and cooked to order. I ordered a 3pc catfish filled with 2 sides(okra & fries) and it was right at $11, so I added 5 jumbo shrimp($1 each). The fries are like home cut fries(love those). The catfish is real. All of the food, not just the batter, is seasoned very well. I really enjoyed it. It was so much food packed in there I still had some left. I didn't want to throw it away because it was so delicious, but I don't eat reheated fried food. I cooked some cheese grits and just put the fish and okra in the air fryer and OMG, it taste like it did yesterday crunchy and all. Very good. I WILL RETURN. Don't take my word or no one else's. Go try it yourself. The pictures does it no justice. It taste better than the pictures look.“
“Went here for brunch and everything I had was delicious. The smoked fish dip was one of the best foods I've ever had, and I loved the dill in there. The grilled oysters were really good and kind of tasted like if you made an oyster Italian. The brioche French toast was pretty good, and the shrimp and grits had a great cayenne butter. I got the spicy bloody Mary, and it had a good spiciness.“

The food was good but my problem is the person who rung up the order decided to add themselves a tip which I wasn’t aware until it posted on my account. I was also charged a takeout fee which my coworkers weren’t charged. Never again will I order from this location.“
“Love the food. Gluten free peeps - this is a good place for you! They don't have a gluten free "menu" per say, but you can order just about anything with corn tortillas instead of flour and the food has never made us sick, so they don't use gluten-containing spices in their meats, etc. at least not in a concentration to cause issues. Very fast for to-go orders. It's usually pretty loud inside, but feels like home. Drinks are reasonably priced as well.“

“Came here with my husband and mother in law & my God. 10/10. We came on a Friday afternoon around 3 PM & it was quiet, not too many people in here. Calm & light atmosphere. Our server was Karen & she was nice & inviting, but didn’t bother us too much, which we appreciated. She made great suggestions & took care of us. My mother in law got the Redfish Orleans & it was soooo flavorful. A little kick to it though. My husband got the shrimp & grits & it was neck & neck with a restaurant in Atlanta called Mojave. 10/10! I got the Seafood Pasta & I’d rate it a 9/10. I had expectations of it being more Cajun flavored but it was still creamy & delicious. Our appetizers were the oyster platter & Fried green tomatoes. My first time trying fried tomatoes & I was blown away. So overall, 10/10 experience. Loved it here!“

“My husband doesn't eat seafood but thought I'd like to try a new place. He loves red beans and rice and it was definitely a hit for him! Neither of us could finish our food, but it didn't stop us from taking it home for leftovers. Highly recommend! Also, they have the best fried pickles I've ever tasted.“

Crab, shrimp, sausage, boiled eggs, corn on the cob, and potatoes! Yummmm!!! Love it! I even have left overs for supper tonight! Today we had a new waitress, Brittany, who had just started yesterday. “My first time here and have to say I have never had a more pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and respectful. I spoke with a manager who instead of being behind the scenes was out on the floor helping his staff with the day to day cleaning. I have a lot of respect for this manager and his staff. “So I visited Carters Hooka bar & Grill for the first time. I had seen so many good reviews on another site so I decided to give it a try. To say I was underwhelmed wouldn't suffice. The atmosphere was nice, chill little vibe. Good music, good vibes, bad food & Drinks were disgusting. We ordered shrimp & grits, steak & shrimp, 2 blue MF (drinks) & Cajun ranch cheese fries. The grits were under cooked, no seasoning, and tasted like water. We added salt and that didn't help at all. The sausage was burnt and it was a little too done. The shrimp was seasoned but it didn't balance the grits. The steak and shrimp tasted like each other. They didn't have a distinct flavor, it's like they cooked it together. The steak was waaayyy overcooked and the heat wasn't hot enough because the steak didn't have a char on the outside. It was spicy along with the shrimp. It did come with 2 potatoes covered in cheese and a side salad that was mostly tomatoes & cucumbers minimal lettuce. The drinks were not good but not bad. Too much alcohol, the end that's all. I would come back but definitely not for the food.“
“The food is always cooked to desired order. The staff are super friendly and fast. I live 15 minutes away and order online. When I arrive, my food is ready. I'm allowed to check to make sure it's how I've requested. I pass at least 5 chicken joints before I get to this place. That should tell you everything.“
