“I gave 4 stars because the food wasn't to my liking, of course we ate all of it we paid for it and we do not throw away food, but it was fresh and hot. Our server Faith was a sweetheart?‍♀️ and very kind when I asked for more butter,she brung it right on out. The atmosphere gives off a vintage smooth free vibe,which was superb and we loved it. I do recommend this restaurant to others, it's just we are huge seasoning lovers and we love to try different places and styles of food so we gave this place a shot. This restaurant is excellent for dining so go check it out.“

“If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I’m visiting from out of town, and my blackened mahi fish tacos were other-worldly. The hush puppies were a delightful side, with the fresh house made tartar sauce to dip. 100% loved this meal. The vibe here is relaxed, mom & pop kind of cozy. Go here today. I will be back!!“

“We were at an event at Barber Motorsports. We like local restaurants and Cajun food. Loved this place! The Redfish Rockefeller was superb. Lots of spice, not to much and so well cooked. My husband’s gumbo was great, nice dark roux. We love Cajun food and this was a great example. (And the service rocked)“

“Great fish, I had batter dipped and my wife had catfish. Both were well cooked and served very hot. We both had a side of green beans, love the way they prepare their green beans. I had French fries as my second side - crispy and fresh. My wife had corn on the cob - so hot she was unable to touch it let alone eat it until right before our meal was over. She did say that once she was able to taste it that it was good. Service was a little slow but like everywhere else in this area, they were running short handed. The hush puppies were a little on the under done side.“

“Janae is amazing! We ate at this location 2 nights in a row and had her both nights. Let me just say she always goes above and beyond and made sure we were getting amazing customer service and also amazing food. Janae never let our drinks touch the bottom of our glasses. She was fully energetic and proud to serve us. We had the unlimited shrimp your way and it was all fresh and delicious. The garlic shrimp scampi and salt and vinegar shrimp were hot and fresh everytime Janae brought them out. Also the general manager Terry stopped by our table to check on us and made us feel very welcomed and glad that we were there. We will definitely be back! Go to vestavia red lobster and ask for Janae you will leave more than satisfied!!“

“If you have never been before GO. The atmosphere, the customer service, THE FOOD, is all impeccable. I have been twice this month with my husband. The food is fresh to order and they have the best garlic bread ever. Even just going in to sit at the bar is a great experience. 10/10 and definitely one of our favorite places to eat. ♥️“

“Automatic Seafood and Oysters never disappoints. Hubby and I went there for our anniversary dinner recently. The raw oysters were very fresh and tasty - the perfect beginning to another wonderful culinary experience at this restaurant. For my entree I opted for the blackened pomfret with crawfish beurre blanc. We shared a side of haricot verts - perfectly seasoned. Logan, our waiter, was attentive, efficient and personable. All-in-all a wonderful experience. I held one star on atmosphere simply because I am growing tired of the industrial loft motif in fine dining establishments. C’mon, jazz it up a bit! Also I am a firm believer in comfortable chairs in restaurants (and theirs aren’t particularly comfortable).“

“20240327 ? 20% tip was already included in my bill. When I was paying with my credit card, it asked for tip. So I tipped $30 for $140 total, not knowing that 20% tip was included!! ? Good thing Ricardo was great, and with Bidenomics... the extra tip might help Ricardo out. I guess I should check my bills in the future.20240326 so happy this restaurant is dogfriendly. In town for a day and wanted a nice meal with my friend and her family. Ricardo was the best waiter. He was attentive, and very polite and nice. The food was delicious. “Finding seating is hard here….And that’s it. That’s the end of the slight detriments.This is some is the best BBQ in birmingham and that’s a pretty big deal.The sweet tea chicken sandwich is FANTASTIC, but I actually tried a burger this time.
