We go about every two weeks or so. Love the atmosphere, the food and especially the servers and staff. They remember our names and what we like. Shout out to Becky, Brooklynn, Cody, Alex, Conner, Manager Heather, and many others that do great stuff behind the scenes.
Had only visited this location once a couple of years ago when it first opened & was not impressed with food quality....decided to drop in to see how things are now & was pleasantly surprised.

Half Shell Oyster House Pelham receives mixed reviews. Many guests praise the food, calling it "top notch," "delicious," and "great," with specific mentions of the "fried green tomato & crab cake appetizer," "French dip," and "stuffed peppers I portobello mushrooms." The restaurant is described as "reasonably priced" with a "Louisiana style music vibe" and "friendly staff." One server named Meredith is repeatedly highlighted for her "superb" customer service, being "funny, witty, warm, honest," and making a memorable dining experience. However, other reviews note inconsistent food quality, with dishes coming out "kind of cool" or "barely warm" and "not fresh at all." One guest mentioned a "health inspection score in the window was a 70," though this was later clarified to be from a different location in Tuscaloosa. Another visit involved "more sugary than pleasurable" drinks and a server who refilled everyone's water except one person's. Despite these issues, many guests state they "will be coming back" and consider it "one of our favorite spots," suggesting the experience can vary by visit.
